what is this Crap !!
by Shashank Aggarwal on Apr 19, 2007 09:56 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Even though I feel strongly for the person who Died, however I am not sure why we need a national mourning day for him, why should we even spend our time discussing the same.

Thousands of people die over here in acts of Terrorisms, accidents, murders and lot of other factors, we do not make notes for all of them, then why for a person who was sitting thousands of miles away. Just because he was a NRI who made it big ?

In that case let me show you a different picture, he was a person educated in India, an education that was subsidized by the money of Indian tax payer, so that he can do this country some good. And what he did. for better pastures he settled abroad, do hell with the Indians with whose money and efforts this person was educated.

Not sure why he is being considered as National Treasure over here, he should not be any different to us then any of the other 30 odd people. His contribution to our lives is a Big ZERO !!

Regards
Shashank

though not all... for many people the reason for moving out of country is because of the reduced opportunities(due to reservations) out of the meager opportunities available in the country... you would understand it if you look at the whole or if you go through it... it is easy to commen than go through it... even today many people have no choice but to leave(even though life in the country is better than outside) bcoz everyone cant fight for a piece of bread where 70% is reserved...

Okay guys !!

I might be loser, so lemme improve on that, in Delhi yesterday more than 10 people died in accidents, so why dont you pst topics for all of them and start consoling all their families.

The only point is why are we making this special !! ask urself and answer !!

If they had posted an article regarding those accidents, I think you would have posted a message in a similar manner. But just because you asked and with equal respect to those who passed away in those accidents, this kind of shooting is not common. And another thing it is not the handiwork of some terrorist groups but that of a student who nobody in their wildest dreams would have imagined could do this. It is not everyday that this sort of shooting goes on .Right sir ?

Agree with you! But who the hell told you to discuss on this topic. Stay away from those discussions, which you don't want to participate. There is no enforcement!!

One should not be so harsh at somebody's death .... he was not just an NRI but somebody's son , brother and husband who's feeling s are depicted here. Though he may mean nothing to us , he was the world to lots of other people.

Its sad
by Manoj J on Apr 19, 2007 09:52 AM  Permalink

Its amazing how some 'armpits' in this forum make mockery of death. Every human life is valuable. The feeling of losing someone dear is only known if you lose someone. We all will some day. So have some compassion.

My heart goes to the family of all victims.

My Deep Condolences

My deepest condolences for all the family memebers of the Professor.
Having understood that India has given him all the sources to get his knowledge - I really cant understand why the Professor wished his body to be cremated in the US.
