Heart felt condolences
by Manoharan Dharmarajan on Apr 19, 2007 01:10 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Cruel fate. Getting killed in a foreign land for no fault of his. No parent should go through this trauma again. Imagine the parent's plight through out their journey until they reach Prof.Loganathan's place in US. May be this is their longest journey ever.

Are you saying trauma is over after the parents reach Blacksburg ? Trauma is there even after that, they have to haggle with USA taxi driver and pay the taxi fare, then who knows whether they will like nonveg USA food like ham bacon beef bison after being brought up on pure vegetatian diet in Tamil Nadu. Let us pray for them.

Rajasekar, I think you meant inclusively. Exclusively his wife means other than the wife everybody else will get strength from God. Why you want to exclude that poor woman ? So let us pray that God will give strength to all family members inclusively the wife.
By the way this exclusive inclusive confusion happening because you are a southie who has gotten educated in corporation school in Tamil medium. If you go to nice convent school in North India like Delhi Public School, no doubts about inclusive exclusive will arise.

If you are human you think....
by on Apr 19, 2007 12:51 PM  Permalink

I have read through all 47 messages posted till now.... and first of all my condolences to the family. Human life is valuable, and i understand it.

But some of them here have argued about not bringing up certain topics at this difficult times. But if you dont speak up, you will be snubbed forever. So i dont blame people who are questioning there tax dollars. They have all the right in the world. So many of you discussed about mr. loganathan, did anyone discuss about the student who died ? Is that person not of indian origin ? What did that mr. loganathan do to you or india that this person did not do or would not have done.

I am human as well, i have emotions as well... to all of you who were questioning some topics.. my question is simple.. was the other person not INDIAN ?

Death of Professor
by ramachandran nair on Apr 19, 2007 12:50 PM  Permalink

It is very bad and tragic. Such a young talent is cut short.I cannot do anything at this juncture but share the grief of his near and dear ones at this hour of crisis in their life. My heart goes to his sorrowing wife and children and pray almighty to bestow upon them enough strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss of theirs.

When our nation does not recognize talent from a unknown village what is wrong in moving for a greener pasture?
You have one side the Mandalites and on the other side you have the Kamandalites.
