He is again showing the american strategy :-)
This is a strategy where you have a burnt face and you put on a mask and make fun of a person who has a burnt mark on his face.

Sorry, but this does'nt mean that you will favour the US killing. Unfortunately these incidents are common and almost people of almost religions have suffered at one or the other time. Its shameful on our part to keep crying for our own religion only. Its time that we should all together condemn such killings irrespective of any caste or race, and pray to God for a healthy and secure world to live, in harmony with each other.

Possessing guns
by simransingh on Apr 18, 2007 07:12 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

How can a cvilized country allow a 23 yr old student to possess 2 guns and buy so many cartridges? Some people have no conscience irrespective of how many will get killed. There are people who still say if others had guns, they could have protected themselves.

Yeah right. Imagine that. What would it be? A civil war? A riot?

Sad Sad!
by bharat on Apr 18, 2007 07:08 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

No words are adequate to condole the loss of Minal's life in such a tragic manner. She was one of the many Indians looking forward to a rosy career after completing her education in this leading university. Unfortunately, destiny had planned something else. God knows how many lives this crazy gun culture in the USA is going to continue to claim!

Well, Minal is no more but her family members have to bear the pain of her loss. Hope that god gives them the necessary strength to cope up with this loss and get on with life.

Maybe a good idea for students aspiring to come ot US universities to revisit their plans. All is not safe here. Sure you can get killed anywhere but if it happens when you are in your country with your folks around.

Make India Better Place
by chapar on Apr 18, 2007 07:05 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If you are so scared of not having a decent life style in India, why you guys don't tell US goverment to build a better infrastructure in India. Why you guys are in US working for them, tell them to come to India and work with you...if they think our country doesn't have good infra. then let them built it. Be close to your family, leave in your own house then staying in one bedroom apartment (8 people in one room).

Make India a better place to live...

RE:HAVE ANY HONEST ANSWER

I feel sad for the victims and families of this massacre. Though it was two decades ago, the scar remains.
Every individual must learn to control their emotions and anger, and find humane ways to express their outrage. Not, by killing or maiming another life, and that's when Man equals animal.

US gov go around the world un-arming the whole world. It is funny to see that they do not do that to the safety of their citizen.

It is really sad to know that Minal is dead.I am an Indian student in the US in a different university and I can imagine that the campus of Virginia Tech would be as quiet as our campus. It is really difficult to imagine anything like that happening there.

May Minal's soul rest in peace.

Democratic America
by padmanabham durvasula on Apr 18, 2007 06:59 AM  Permalink

American govt. which boasts so much about democracy and creates havoc in other countries by involving in their internal affairs. Probably it shows its democratic zeal by providing easy arms to its citizens, especially students and give freedom to kill others.

Hail American Democracy!

Padmanabham
