Even the rickshaws were supposed to be on strike.
However, they are plying. Their leaders perhaps acted with some amount of responsibility and answerability to the people of Mumbai.
Abhi-Ash waali baat dimaag mein baithati nahi hei.
The three Asses (donkeys not meant but the alphabet "S") viz. Sharad, Shankar, and Suhas should have acted more responsibly in such a situation, and given at least a notice prior to the flash strike.
If failure of any meeting results into an immediate strike in any sector, it is tantamount to blackmail even if the demands are just and reasonable.
And it is such a blackmail out of which grow margaret thatchers.
Union leaderships should not necessarily mean the kind of "goondashashi" that prevailed during datta sawant days that sent the textiles mills in to the smoke emanating from their chimneys.
Well the Guy's track record wud act as a grim reminder to those who can post any incapable and a tardy administrator onto sensitive posts bypassing and negating administrative efficiency over political tiltations. Most of the postings in Maharashtra are being done on the basis of a 'pay back' capability. All such sensitive posts that are 'auctioned' have now started the downslide of one of the front runner states of India. Mah is following the Bengal story. BMC & Police Comm posts Bbay are 'auctioned' and so is the post of DG Police interalia posts like Prin Secy Finance. Frustrations like these lead efficient administrators to resign or leave service. Statistics show that Mah has lost amongst the largest number of IAS, IPS and other AIS officers. Why is efficiency and honesty held hostage by nincompoops (read political hirarchy) who dont know anything abt Strategic development and have the sole agenda to bleed the State dry through their lust and greed...THIS IS MAHARASHTRA's WAKE UP CALL.
Dear BEST employees, don't do that. No one will pay heed to your concerns as most of the officers will be busy managing the Abhi Ash wedding in the BEST possible manner.
