Unfortunately US government whether its the democrats or the republicans are funded by the GUN lobby--so nothing much can be expected they get the finance from other sources. this is also the reson why it has to wage war on one country or the other as these killer factories need to be fed . A gun weighs 3 kgs--for that you pay about 1000 dollars @300 dollars a kilo. Where as for acar that weighs 1500 kgs can be bought for 15000 $( mind u iam talking abt a midsize good japo car)@ 100 $ a kilo that too with all the moredern gizzimos. No prices for guessing why the price of guns are still expensive( and even more so for the ammo)
I woke up in the middle of night to write my theory why this kind of massacres happen only in USA. Let me put it first what happens in such an incident in any other country, a gunman on a shooting spress in a highly populated School, University or Mall: He will be overpowered with dozens of others and killed or subdued. In USA, no one dares to do the so called self protection because of the ...'ing US Police and Laws that complicate matters for those who involve in so called Assault and those self protectors will be jailed for years. God Save America.
Every year we have hearing so many cases of shootouts in schools and universities of USA. There seems to be an major lapse in attention to prevent such incidents.How does student or third person is able to carry weapons inside the premises and execute his/her mad act.Its hightime Mr.Bush addressess this issue,which is major concern.Every person killed were the dear most to their parents...

I agree. US needs stringent gun control laws. Guns are not commodities to be purchased over the counter with some money, and some identity card.
Heart breaking news to be heared that not even education institutions and the academicians and students are also the victims to the hands of terrorists. Hearty condolensces to Prof. Loganathan, his students and all other persons who were killed in this brutal attack. This should not happen anywhere for any cause.
