This channel is yellow journalism at its worst and is clearly promoting paparazism. Though, to be fair they do occassionally raise serious social issues like dowry and wife beatings. Their latest efforts on promoting run-from-home-and-wed agenda is a real menace. The intercast/inter religious marriage is much more complex matter that the shallow findings on STAR NEWS reports. The larger effect would be teenagers running from home with their sweethearts hoping to find shelter at STAR NEWS studios along with free publicity and air time!
It is not sufficient for STAR news/for any media. They should have burn down the entire office by evacuating the people. It should be a lesson for the media. I watch STAR news from the UK. What crap they speak and show.
eloping with 16 year old girl is crime. first of all STAR should have handed over them to Police and as per rule Police should have taken action.media was trying to gain TRP for which it payed rightfully. every personal matter should not be aired. next should be NDTV and IBN7
We Indians can easily take the first, second and third postions for any competition dedicated to being hypocrite.
Some incidents I want to quote a) Some guys in UP decremate Dr. Ambedkar and in Maharastra some people burn then trains...Now wasn't the Indian consitution written by Dr. Ambedkar and damage to public property an offence according to India consitution...hahha The guys break the constitution written by Dr. Ambedkar and claims they respect him hahhaha
b) Star TV shows an interview and some people ransack the office. Agreed the India media is the worst in terms of quality (In terms of quantity we definitely are far better haha) and yes the girl was 16 years old, hold on isn"t in Manipur the legalized age for sex is 14. Ok she is minor in terms of Indian Consitution but breaching ones property and destroying it isn"t an offence or they changed the constitution hahah.... u cannot do a crime and ask to punish someone else... for the information of those guys there is something called judiciary and some 100 thousands so called lawyers to see things are according to the law.
c) Current hot topic, Richard Gere kisses silpa and again some people go out burning effigies...now can someone explain me how did India had a population of over 1 billion and we are dreaming to take over china in another 10 odd years. Funny isn"t it that some guys who have not even passed 10th standard are trying to teach engineers and doctors what to wear in collage campus and whether to celebrate valentines hahah India is definitely growing haha
Guys add up more... we have to make India win in this competition of hypocricy.

if some of the people who want to beat China - if they visit China once will shut their mouth for ever. The most industrialised nation that I have seen in Asia. You are right. I think the only way these fools who break the law at the fall of a hat will change is education. How much ever you and I write about them - they are not going to change. We will collapse one day as a country if we dont invest in educating not these fools - but their Children atleast who will grow up one day to become a responsible citizen and not take laws in their own hands. It%u2019s a month since I met Farhan, a cheerful 13-year-old madrasa student of my locality. His inquisitive eyes followed me one day when I came home from shopping. He offered to carry my bags and we became friends. Farhan wears torn, muddy white kurta-pajama and a skullcap. He doesn't play cricket with neighbourhood children, has not seen a movie in two years, has no clue about KBC or Gandhi, Nehru, science, geography, math. His curious eye settles on my PC. I tell him one can write letters, watch films, hear music and see any part of the world with it: "Do you want to learn how?" But his hectic schedule at the madrasa will spare no time. He has come from Assam to enlighten himself on Islam, and is already a "hafiz-Quran" (one who has learnt the holy Quran by heart). So what if he doesn't know what the Arabic means. His parents had no option for him. Farhan is appalled at the portrait of Jesus in my room: "Aapne yeh Hindu ki tasveer kyon rakhi hai? Aapke ghar me farishte kaise aayenge?" (Why do you harbour the portrait of a Hindu? How will the angels grace your house?). I tell him it's Jesus, whom we Muslims call Isa Masih, a Prophet of Islam. Farhan is relieved and a bit embarrassed. "Vaise Farhan, Hindu ki tasveer ghar me rakhne mein kya harj hai? Kya woh hamari tarah insaan nahi?" (Why Farhan, what's the harm, are the Hindus not humans like us?) I ask. He looks up and recites, "Woh doosri kaum hai, woh kafir hain aur unke jaisa banna kufur hai." (They are another race, they are idolaters and it's idolatry to become like them). I cut him short, "That's how you have been made to think, Farhan." He simply nods and leaves. Scientific inquiry is not something he is used to. I am afraid I might have hurt my young friend. Hope he comes again and this time we won't discuss religion.
