what's so ever may be the truth..Either Rama built it or Rama used it or just a myth...
who told you wikipedia is a neutral site? Even you can modify the contents of the site.. it is not written by professionals. That's why no author can be traced of the article.

You have not read article carefully. Niether Balu is professional nor VP Goel to decide about setu.. not even Uma Bharati.. Ministers are not expected to be professional in their department (finance ministry could be an exception).. rather they are supposed to take decisions guided by professionals. commone thread is all took decisions accepting professional studies.. all decisions fall unison.. that what I mean to say
This is a clear case of neglecting the feelings of crores of indians. If we are protecting things few BCs old, this case deserves it for sure being old enough. The debate whether the bridge was built by Rama or was it an already existing natural one and was just used by Rama is immaterial. It is a matter of belief and if people believe the structure to be sacred and used by rama, there is no harm in protecting it. I assume no one wil take this debate to the more philosophical question of belief etc. since the world starts with belief. We "believe" our parents to be our parents and never ask for any DNA report from them. The same holds for national heros as well. We believe in Rama as a national hero and hence the belief about the sea bridge associated with his sea crossing must be protected. We can surely have other alternative as suggested by some people. The problem of this country is that not only bloody politicians but even the comman men can not think beyond politics. Every issue is taken as a political gimmick, what ever be it's importance and domain, social, cultural, spiritual etc. The govt. has not yet done any detailed research about the whole thing and just on the basis of initial few findings discarding the whole affair. Hope fully people will realise that the so calles secular govt. is actually becoming communal by hurting the feelings of crores of hindus. Can you imagine a place having any relation with Prophet Mohammed or Jesus being destroyed. The whole country must have been in burning by now. I can't stop thinking that the govt is determined to destroy any thing that is attached to lord RAMA. Giving tirupati devasthanam's land to christians and many more such incidents in the past have already happened and how many more are yet to come?

yes i m saying.. that bridge is built by Ram and his Monkey army. anything will change in ur life...? do u want to go to srilanka by that RAMSETU..? no.. dont be upset..do u know how much time u have ...? no..nobody knows.. so please enjoy life till death..!
Then how did RAM and his monkey army cross this water-way???
You mean to say whatever we read in Ramayana and saw in Ramayana (serial) all these were hypothetical?
Please clarify that what extent we should believe in existence of RAM and his Ramayana and also his place of Birth (because our country is suffering a lot due to these issues).
Please save my great country (from these selfish and unpatriotic politicians) REPLY.
That thing has been Ram Setu, why to change its name to a christian name?
Rediff should know that many people who have voiced their desir for this issue were not political activists. there has been a setu in the area that was travelled by Sri Ram, and there is no reason to rename it to biblical names.
