Media should refrain becoming puppets of political rivalry
by Sammer Bhagwat on Apr 16, 2007 01:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It's all Political game and media should not highlight what has been said or chased in political warfare.

Rahul Gandhi is not a shrewd politician like Mulayam singh and BJP Leaders. All the BJP leaders are above 50yrs and upto 90yrs, even they praise Jinnah as secular.

So there is not controversy except media and political gimmick.

Did Rahul cross the line on Pakistan?
by softouch on Apr 16, 2007 01:33 PM  Permalink

He certainly did cross the line. By taking all 'credit'for the creation of Bangladesh, he has belittled the people of Bangladesh, who gave their blood for freedom from Pakistani tyranny. Rahul Gandhi owes an apology to the people of Bangladesh.

Rahul Gandhi comes across as a spoilt brat who does not know what to say.

Rahul's remarks.
by on Apr 16, 2007 01:32 PM  Permalink

The recent utterance of Rahul Gandhi about dividing of Pakistan is a childish statement depicting the ignorance and lack of political knowledge on the part the so-called young leader putting the entire country into awakward posititon beyond imagination. While both India and Pakistan are trying to find out means to come closer and forget the past, such silly remarks only create mistrust and worsen the relations and mar the peace process .Dr.S.K.Raina

Its the same Family
by Ravikumar on Apr 16, 2007 01:31 PM  Permalink

Rahul must acknowledge the fact that it was his great grand father Nehru who was responsible for handing over Kashmir to Pak and allowing chinese to occupy Tibet. He is solely responsible for 1962 war defeat. His grand mother didn't allow Indian Army to split B'desh and send back all the bangladeshis .That was the time for us to split Pak into Pieces which she missed. His father was responsible for the lives of 7000 army men in Lanka Peace keeping and of course Mrs sonia everone knows about that lady.

Blame it on the speechwriters
by Shirin Banerjee on Apr 16, 2007 01:31 PM  Permalink

Neither Rahul nor Sonia Gandhi have the desired IQ to make impromptu speeches. They have family retainers like Pranab Mukerjee & Arjun Singh to write their speeches. Blame them. These two undistinguished politicians are really the hands behind the Gandhi Nehru throne. Pranab even had the gall to aspire for the PM's position when Indira died but he seems to have been forgiven for crossing the line. Arjun of Churhat lottery fame is better off in the grave but continues to play dirty tricks with caste and creed. In the past, they were also supported by family servants like R K Dhawan, George and M L Fotedar. That pretty much sums up the Congress royalty!!!

Big deal...
by on Apr 16, 2007 01:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What difference does it make? All he has done is said aloud what every single one of us know. India divided Pakistan... Even a three year old can tell you that. With regard to the Babri Masjid issue, I sincerely believe the Gandhis would atleast have tried (Unlike those that were in power at the time) to ensure that the zealots were not successful in tearing down Babri Masjid.

All Rahul has proven himself to be is a straight talker. Personally, the world could use more like him in the backstabbing and lying world of politics.

Why doesn't he talk about the price hike on the essential commodities like aata, daal, chaval, sabji the prices on which has risen tremendously since his personal congress came into power. If he talks straight, does he has gut to take this issue too?
