In a democracy who becomes a leader shouldnt be based on his family background. So this remark is as nonsensical as his.
You just proved why he can aspire of being PM one day. He should be shown the door but what do we show you?
This proves how much Grey Matter is there in Rahuls head. He should have said they established a seperate state from the hands of fundamentalists. It would have sounded more patriotic, more anti extremism! now his statements sounds more "British" Divide and Rule. What a fool Rahul is? Thats what they taught him in HARVARD.

Rahul Gandhi is anything but dumb! He knows local issues like bijli, paani, sadak has no significance for the poor and largely illeterate UP electrorate who are sharply divided on caste and community lines. He knows rhetorics only will work here. Who's going to cross check the facts! The masses of that state have ben rendered powerless after half a decade of misrule and exploitation by the politicians.The only aim of Rahul is to grab power at any cost , so that his dynasty's future is secure for the time being. If the people of UP could make their voices known like you and me through bulletin boards in Rediff, then no Rahul would have dared to fool them. Politicians irrespective of parties have always gained by keeping the electorate literally in the dark, by denying them the bare minimum for a dignified existence.
