Why only Pakistan????
by Rangasamy Vijay on Apr 21, 2007 10:25 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Leave alone taking credit for dividing Pakistan. His grand mother carried yet other credit of destabilizing the entire Indian political system by maintaining a weak state governments, changing chief ministers at her will from the centre. This has really created too much unnecessary friction/poor coordination amongst states as state leaders need only to appease centre and need not address state issues. We really have so many mini Pakistan in our republic all held loosely & maintained in some order only thru supreme court rulings from time to time. Now NE frontiers are going wild. Great job.

Congress and Indian History
by ASIM MEHTANI on Apr 19, 2007 04:05 PM  Permalink

No Doubt, Bangladesh was created, and at that time Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister ! When someting is achieved, the credit always goes to the head of the department, even in sports, if any team wins, credit always goes to the Captain, as we use to say, look that team has won under his captaincy etc. ! Therefore, everybody knows, that credit will always goes to Indira Gandhi for forming Bangladesh, since she was the PM at that time ! The question is why Rahul Gandhi had to say like this ! If anyone has the authority to give the credit, then the authority lies on Indian People, not by Rahul Gandhi ! Who is he to provide the credit ? What he knows about Indian history ? Does he think, that India is his personnel property ! In fact as per the Congress, Congress is Nehru Dynasty, and nobody can be greater than Nehru Dynasty even the Country ! Let everyone notice their speeches, Congress had given the freedom by the grace of Nehru, Mahatama Gandhi, and thereafter Rajiv Gandhi use to say, that Nehruji Neh, Indiraji Neh yeh yeh kam kiya, and so on ! Then what about others ! Why the Congress forget to tell about Saheed Bhagat, ChandraShekhar Azad, Subash Chander Bose, and so mnay ! I should have appreciated, if Congress should shown the maturity by saying, that every Indian directly or indirectly involved in freedom struggle were responsible for independence of India ! Why Congress always failed to mention the name of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, who had united India after Independence, and Kashmir part was not given to him, and see what is the situation in Kashmir ! Once I have read somewhere, Sardar Patel had suggested to allow him to handle Kashmir part also, and within one month it will be solved, but nobody at that time heeded his suggestions.
