If, we guys are going to fight against ourselves instead of fighting against poverty, corruption, illiteracy, caste system, social injustice etc, I do not see how far we could be allowed to call ourselves the new super power or the economic giant. This is a huge question mark that looms in the mind of a common man.

Guys, Look at countries like USA where no one is originally from the land. All of them had immigrated now or long back. One could see a mix of ethnicity in US. I mean they represent all the nationalities of the world. They live in relatively gud harmony with each other. They take care of their daily chores and keep it in their mind that whatever they do it affects their home and country (USA). Why can not we live like that. We had gained independence long bak and still we fight among ourselves whether it is between persons from different religion or caste or social status. We means it includes me and every Indian. I do not know how Mahatma will feel after seeing all these things happening after gaining independence through non-violence.

There are no losers' rights in the arabic religions unlike the Mahaabhaarata where it was proved that war is futile and the victor and vanquished both lose and thus wars should be avoided. . There is institutionalised violence in xtianity and islam, led by their most revered leaders - there, victory over those who disagree with you is of utmost importance, but not justice. . The Mahaabhaarata was fought partly due to the treatment meted out to women by the Kaurawas. Yet, islam sanctions sex-slavery and women are treated like sexual objects.

The literal meaning of the Arabic term %u2018Jihaad%u2019 means to strive, or exert one%u2019s efforts, or earnestly work towards a desired goal.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 61 Surah Saff verses 10-12:
10 O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a Grievous Penalty?
11 That ye believe in Allah and His Messenger and that ye do %u2018jihaad%u2019 (strive your utmost) in the Cause of Allah with your property and your persons: that will be best for you if ye but knew!
12 He will forgive you your sins and admit you to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity: that is indeed the Supreme Achievement.
Any striving, any effort, or any work or thing one does in the Cause of Allah or to further the Cause of Islam, seeking nothing but the Pleasure and Good Will of their Lord Most High would be considered %u2018jihaad-fi-Sabeelillah%u2019 (Jihaad in the Cause of Allah) in the Sight of Allah Subhanah.
In light of the guidance of the Glorious Quran and the authentic and established Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws), the absolute minimum level of %u2018jihaad%u2019 is to strive against one%u2019s own soul and temptations and control one%u2019s unlawful desires%u2026.and the highest level or epitome of %u2018jihaad%u2019 in Islam is to be ever ready to willingly lay down (if need be) one%u2019s life and one%u2019s property to further the Cause of Allah Subhanah.

if u look back in histroy/or present all wars and fightings are because of land/money/power/religion. but do u thing are muslim getting any thing from the so called muslim fundamentalism or terrorism be it in iraq/lebnon/afghanistan they are just losing there lives/ecnomy etc. these are all because of political injustics done to them in these countries by so called superpowers. unless this is not changed stability is difficult. we use to hear about some organisation called UN. unless this organisation stop working for perticular countries. muslims will suffer

Yess, I agree with it completely. Its only due to the deeds of few muslim people, the whole Asian community is being seen as aliens be it UK or America. At the end of day everyone is human being but dont know why such act of terrorism is being done or influenced by muslims only all over the world. Why any terror suspect caught anywhere in world is a muslim (be the person belong to Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, UK, Canada, US, Middleeast muslim countries). Rather they should try to make a place healthier to live by human beings be it their country or whereever they are living.

Dear Sunny, These Hindus just expect UNITY among Muslim they dont want to see the People of a great religion to fight among themeselves. They comfortably forgetting What Uma Bharti did in MP Just FOR Grabbing Power. Just Tell me one reason What Islam Has to do with these(qureshi&Ansari)?
