What do you mean? Nafasat. In your view there sould not be any educational qualification for this job.It means you are supporting these type Lallu Politicians in our politics. This is the reason why India is in underdeveloped or developing nation list. Change your mindset you poor people. You are writing here after understanding the subject. If you dont then what do you do.KALA AKSHAR BHAINS BARABAR.And these(almost illiterate) politicians treating this country as BHAINS.

nothing is there that is worse, no sanskar, no intelligence, no education
There is no solution to this as if there is mandatery rule that politicians should have bachelor degree, the very next day they will produce a bachelor degree from big universities.

Mr. Ravi, Can't we choose ex-servicemen, who are good, patroit and to some extent educated. Examples are Mr. B.C.Khanduri / Jaswant Singh etc. They can serve our purpose and in democratic way.

Before making it mandatory let Arjun add a couple of new subjects for graduation.
1. BCP(Bachelor of Currupt Practices,Bachelor of Cheating Public, Bachelor of Criminalizing Politics) 2. BCCD( Bachelor in Creating Cast/Communal Divide).
it is pity that in country like india where there is no dearth of talents, a bunch of uneducated ministers are leading the country...minimum edu qualification of graduation should be the criteria for any applicant contesting for ministerial or such posts....all others should be disqualified or demoted....let educational qua. also be among one of the prerequisite for filing nomination ...then every tom, dick and harry cannot think of leading india....

Although I agree with you, Indian public should be educated more. People who can read newspapers are literates, and one cannot obviously call them educated. If our inner conscience says, well, I would not bribe anyone for anything...and same holds true for getting bribed for example, and if many people together do this, we can call our society has benifited from education. Else, look at all the public officials with IAS and what not qualifications, what education are they lacking...if their degrees are used as a measure of education. Although corruption is a different topic altogether, it is a menace, that can be removed among others, with education.

But Somita, Who will do this. Answer is Politician. Now tell me why will they do this.In past there were so many rulings bu Supreme court against them but on very next day a bill was passed by the August house and a new law was created.Any job in anywhere require minimum educational qualification but politicians dont. If you find any government job then a police verification is must, whether you have a criminal backgraound or any case against you or you are a harmless creature. But tell me any politician(read party) who had not supported the Bill in favour of criminal politicians and it was against the Election commission. And the NDA (A.B.Vajpayee)was in power and Sonia Gandhi was the Leader of opposition.SO SUPPORT ME FOR MILITARY RULE IN THIS COUNTRY.
Recently in a southern Indian city, 95% percent of the traffic rule violaters were qualified especially doctors and IT professionals. Many educated were shy away to do politics

The argument is simple: They did not get the opportunity to get in there...they want their children to go there, so that thier kids can achieve what they could not and contest elections with the qualification as IIM/IIT fail....but without much fuss. The Dads are working hard for the future of thier kids...samja karo yaar..

Think about it. How unfortunate our country INDIA is.These people are not giving argument and talking in support of this topic, it is other politicians who are talking in support or against after getting support from these illiterate MLAs and MPs.

It appears the major political parties are fielding the best available apples. And some are rotten, but I guess they thought something is better than nothing.
