Never trust Bush mafia
by on Apr 13, 2007 06:41 PM  Permalink

This nuclear deal was about civilian nuclear cooperation and slowly it turned into 'lessenig India's nuclear capability'. From the very beginning one could read between the lines and see that it was all about cap, roll back India's nuclear capability. Now it is out in the open. Does India really need nuclear bombs, probably not but till such time US is bent upon blackmailing countries like India through dictator like Musharraf, don't give an inch. India should give up only if others give up too. Also US has outdate nuclear technology that it would never share with brown countries like India, it you read what the US congress has passed. India wants genuine frienship with US not to become a pawn.

Let it collapse!
by Krishna on Apr 13, 2007 06:40 PM  Permalink

If US thinks that just like some of the other smaller countries, we indians are going to sell our freedom of nuclear usage for some peanuts, just because US wants it, then they must be fools. we should not accept anything that detters our nuclear capabilities and freedom of usage. US can only think and should only think india as equal and as a partner, not as a chamchaa who dances to their tunes. we have every right to safeguard our interests. we don't care abt their opinions.

Every country Should have Nuke
by RANDHIR SASTHA on Apr 13, 2007 06:38 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If the world has to be peaceful without war. The only way is Nuke weapon. Each country should posses atleast one nuke bomb.So that no one will be dare to attack each other. For example Indo-Pak war was averted when terror attacked Indian parliament. The reason for today's Iraq was a mistake done by Saddam Hussain who abolished his nuclear ambition.

And US don't have any right to control other nations. i think they are heading Germany way(nazis in 1930-45). if they continue to do so, they are going to bite dust.

Who is unresonable??
by baranikumar mahadevan on Apr 13, 2007 06:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Surprising US thinks us unreasonable.
They have bombed Iraq twice, Afghanistan and threatened Pakistan and forced them to take an anti Taliban stand. US is the most trigger happy nation and has a history of being aggressive and using arms/weapons on another country.
Now look who is complaining!!!

It is really much abusive to say 'INDIANS ARE GREEDY' and I am still not able to beleive it. It is not nice to term the Indian citizens officially from the US governments side.

Agree with you guys... Americans do not do anything without the intent of profit in it... India must stick to its own terms! Remember pact is always fair among equals.

surprisingly Indians are not able to tolerate the present attitude of USA. they supported US invasion on several countries including iraq and afghanistan, they call iraq freedom fighters as terrorist, they voted against in iran and now the same attitude of US has suddenly become arrogance and ridiculous. if you support devil one day this devil will take over you too.

American way to cap India Nuclear technology
by N Venugopal on Apr 13, 2007 06:18 PM  Permalink

America tried to hoodwink India by offering Nclear technology and denying the Nuclear fule at latter stage to put cap on our Thorium bases Nuclear technology which India can master, reprocess, Export and make money. We have abondance of Thorium. India as a nation dome much much better in rescue operation during Tsunami Than thier Katrina has proved at times of national cresis India stands tall of all nation in the world. When thie domestic law was passed We all as a nation told them " the Law was not tenable to the India, India never accept conditions" But they just thought that they can convince India or bribe Indians to agree for the conditionalities of America which interest them. Any one who agree to this condition is antinational and he will be punished befittingly.

Forget the deal
by George on Apr 13, 2007 06:15 PM  Permalink

Americans just want to get rid of their old nuclear material..it costs a lot to mainatian all these nuclear stuff..so they just want to sell it some 'responsible' nuclear state like India..there is no need for India to agree to their conditions..India should be on top during the negotiations cause the US is greater need for this deal than India.
