America's policies are not clear
by Vimala S on Apr 13, 2007 07:04 PM  Permalink

America used to watch when India and other countries suffered terrorism . America used to walk away as if they are not aware of anything, but from September 11, when they lost the twin towers, they acted crazy , war was announced on Afganistan, instead they could have tried some official ways, since the Taliban itself is a Terrorist body. The already sufferring Afganistan due to Taliban rule had receive a severe blow from US too , but had no other go. Subsequently blaming Suddam Hussain, again they failed to think about some peaceful ways on collective measures, never consulted anybody, nor listened to UN, but invaded unneccessarily there, by accussing the treat of some mass destructive weopens which were never there. Ofcourse the same story again. The already sufferring Iraq was not able to escape from Suddam Hussein, but fallen victim to America. It is too much to do two wars, only for two people Osama and Suddam.

IF THEY REALLY WANT PEACE , THEN THEY SHOULD MAINTAIN COOL.

But throwing much abusive terms on the India, by calling Indian's are greedy, is too much. I do not see any diffence between Taliban and Suddam's government and the present Bush government. The only difference is the way of ehaviour gained through race , when compared to a muslim terrorist's hand.

It is unfortunate that the US-India nuclear civil defence agreement may not see the light of the day. India has rightly demanded its right to test nuclear missiles, when Pakistan keeps on doing so. USA has not forced Pakistan to stop further tests.USA should apply the same medicine to both Pakistan and India. Secondly, If India agrees to buy the natural gas at Pak-Indo border and pays to Pakistan a mutually agreed price, how does it enhance Iran's nuclear

bomb making capacity? USA should calmly decide on this issue. India is a very responsible nuclear power unlike Pakistan

GOD give us some rationality

This deal was the last chance to get out of nuke obscurity and make progress in atleast peaceful use of nuke tech but alas we are the best firers when it come to shooting down own foot. We dream that we shall one day test multi mega ton bombs, we dream we shall one day be acknowledged as a great nuke power without realising that the world has progressed intellectually. Except for the minimum detterent which we have obligation to develop, we need US tech more than anything today. Bombay is facing power cuts, Delhi is known for it and when metros are bearing the brunt god save rest of India. Today's decision or lack of it in name of nuke chuvanism shall be derided by our future generation and once again we have not fired at our foot but put live electric wire on our forehead.

I like the deal for its capability to supply the nuclear fuel for electricity
by proudind on Apr 13, 2007 06:58 PM  Permalink

I like the deal for its capability to supply the nuclear fuel, but US or NSG should not do double standard for supplying same uranium or urine to another cuntry. they developed some law w/o takeing consideration of a large democratic country, now they are asking some restrictions, that is not fair

When Pak test 3 or 4 missiles, we tested only one, that is it.
by proudind on Apr 13, 2007 06:52 PM  Permalink

When Pak test 3 or 4 missiles, we tested only one, that is it. These missiles are needed for the security of our country, when others are testing, is america or other nations need India like a dumb. We promise US or any other country, that we don't test nuclear, but it should not be a must one. If it is must one, then other countries will treat that loophole as to threaten India. Indian neighborhood is different they (US) should aware of that.

Dont Abuse the jews. The reason for their indifference to us is our own leaders'(especially Mahatma Gandhi who refused to support the cause of Zionism) fault. And that nonsense about hitler. These guys survived and won every single battle waged against them by their enemies except the most recent one which ended in a stalemate. We indians can learn a lot of lessons from them.

by Comman Man on Apr 13, 2007 06:45 PM  Permalink

see .... who is saying what ???? ....... US who asked India to go for such treaty ... hastened the sign-off ... is now thinking of India's behavior as suspicious .... if it was the case then who were those idiot US officials signing the treaty so hurriedly.

In fact question should be raised on US's new stand... although they are known to change the stand as and when they feel so ..... SHAME ON US....
