America is angry ......
by ratnesh srivastav on Apr 14, 2007 05:34 AM  Permalink

Who cares if america is angry etc.

They were more angry when we did POKHRAN II.

OPEN MESSAGE TO AMERICA: GO TO HELL

The real reason for america's frustration is that our scientists are not willing to pledge that
1. India will not reprocess fuel or develop technologies.
2. India will not include all of its Fast breeder reactor in civilian field (So the americans cannot learn the FBR tech)
3. Soon India shall have large scale Fast Breeder Reactor (FBR) and need to have uranium shall be gone. A prototype FBR has already started functioning.
4. Before that happens america wants to trap India.

That shall not happen So my dear america: go to hell

ANTI-AMERICANISM????
by UmaShankar SathyaKumar on Apr 14, 2007 03:47 AM  Permalink

I thought of making something clear.

I do love America for various other reasons. America had given many inventions and good things to the world civilization. I really don't want to see the same country to go down in the history as an arrogant and deprived nation due to few 'big heads' of US politics and inconsistent US policies.

Let me make it clear that I am not an 'Anti-American' or whatever you can call me in your language...The current negative opinion about America will not only have significant and lasting impact on the US and the world in the near future but very considerable impact on the future human race as well.

I am sure that founding fathers of America will agree to all my comments on today's America. I am also very sure that they wouldn't have liked to see their country in this kind of big mess. I am very much concerned and worried about what will happen to the world if and when the United State's stronghold on the world diminishes in the next 50 years.

Sometimes, very provoking and critical comments are necessary to understand the problem and to take efforts to find real time solutions. I did try to avoid comparing the US with other problems of the world. Because, by doing so, it is very easy to find many positive things about the US in general. It will only lead to ignore the present problems (crisis!!) and the very necessary to find firm and decisive solutions.

I believe that this world is fast becoming a giant global village. Inter-dependence of countries is far more significant and very crucial than 50 years ago. I think that it's time for the United States to stop interfering in other country's affairs. Let the world countries to handle all their geo-political and social problems before the international community can give any help to them to find solutions. Because, this initiative will compel those countries to understand the importance of democracy to flourish and giving freedom of speech and rights to people.

This world will always consist of democratic, communist and dictatorship countries. It's better to let everyone choose how they want to live in this world rather trying to teach them about democracy, peace, civilised living, equal human rights and so on. It doesn't simply work that way. Because, every country, every race, every religion, every belief and in fact every single human being is different in this world. That very difference is what helped the human race evolve and survive in this plant.

I still do think that the majority Americans are innocent, peace loving people like all other good folks in this world. I think that the Americans had totally forgotten about what made the America really great. But, the American politicians too don't seem to put any effort to understand this reality. The Americans deserve to be taken care primarily by the US government before the US can think to do the same to other countries.

I did live in the United States for more than four years. What I knew about America before I stepped in for the first time wasn't the America I have experienced in all those years.

May God bless all of us in this 'flat world' with love and peace.

Stop bullying
by Ram Naik on Apr 14, 2007 02:05 AM  Permalink

US needs to know that India is no tinpot dicator regime and learn to deal with respect. India should not agree to anything which is not in its interests. It is the same US which aids and supplies Pakistan and turned blind eye to China's supply of nuclear technology to Pakistan. For them INDIA's interest and safety is the last thing in their mind.

Americans are responsible for mess
by alok tiwari on Apr 13, 2007 11:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Americans muddied the waters when their Congress introduced the issues of India's nuclear testing and right to reprocess spent fuel in the enabling legislation. India needs to accept no such conditions. India should not sign the deal until those clauses are withdrawn. The ball, in fact, is in America's court. It is a shame that an Indian website could not represent national point of view properly.

Dear Freiend read the para below,
On the contrary im afraid why the congress is not signing the deal when President has approved it.

READ-----------------------------------------

In an interview, Boucher said, "The United States is really carrying through all its commitments and is ready to conclude an agreement on the basis that the President and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh agreed upon. At this point, the ball is in India's court."
