it is really a very sad news. the society is totally confused. nobody knows or bothered what should be shown, what should be viewed, what would be the effect of such scene. result is as it happened in Kanpur. there may be number of such accidents which may have gone un-reported. it is right time some stringent rules are framed and imposed on TV channels barring such scenes to be shown at prime time.
It is really very sad to mention here all the channels are eager further and further to make very cruel scenery through long series, particularly they are producing such villains rolls to add eagerness and draw more attention of the viewers, which create more bad results than good things, and grows violence.
Therefore, our story writers, producers, and actors of such TV serials should be more vigilant to make good morale storied serials those from the views feel please to see the same, adding patriotism, moral value, giving influence to students on their studies.
If we are noticing these serials of current trend, there we can seldom see single serial advantageous and meaningful or progressive in agricultural, education or adding human values. Administrative should have to assess this entirely and promote them they are profitable for human growth, otherwise neglect them seriously.

We can educate our children about good and bad of life. And must make them understand that Entertaiment is ment to watch not to adopt.
i think its upto the people to decide whether they should copy something or not.. in this boy's case i think it is the mistake of the parents that they left the kid unattended watching any channel on TV. Now the court will give an order banning all suicide scenes on TV. Is this going to really solve the suicide problems? I dont think so.. we have to look at basic stuff like education and population control to get rid of such stuff. banning smoking in movies by heroes has not brought the sale of cigarettes down has it?? In spite of the price hike, more and more cigarettes are being smoked.. so theres no point blaming the TV channels.. People say news channels are good for u.. they give u general knowledge and all sorts of crap.. i think news channels show the ghoriest of scenes and get away with it by saying that they are showing the truth.. So are TV channels. Such suicides keep happening all over India and I dont think even 0.00001% of them are done after watching it on TV.. we goot to get to the root of the problem..no use banning such stuff on TV.

It would help if instead of joking around, you would pause and think seriously. The content on TV is indeed a thing to have some control over by parents.

c'mon guys its not the TV which is making a kid to do it, its human habbit to blame someone for their own wrong doing. Think about it, y in first did that kid thought about dying. Something wrong in home, now parents don't time for kids, they don't talk it out. They hiding main issue behind TV scene. In TV KIDs see sunita williams talking from space, y didn't he planned to goto space. Its my view we should look into kids upbringing. If a kid is having healthy mind he will try to pick good things from all info avialable.
Our movie/TV industry seems to be very insensitive to how their movies influence vulnerable. They just want to dramatise the scenes by showing extreme situations which are never seen in real life. They should stop showing blood and violence on regular channels.
