Hi, I have been there, luckily on 8th April, the day after it was inaugurated ..Its Asia's largest & world's second largest tulip garden. Truely, the valley of Kashmir is now blossoming in red, yellow, white, pink, purple, blue and crimson tulips which imparts a majestic look to the valley's first tulip garden. These beautiful tulip laden fields makes the most romantic dreams come true.
Only yesterday, two Hindus were brutally slaughtered by slitting their throats in the most barbaric fashion by Islamist terrorists. These tulips bloom on the blood of innocents. Drive out terror from Jammu and Kashmir for true tulips to bloom

Mr Inamul Bashir, Go get a life. You are the enemy since u are the one jumping the gun. What does Iraq have to do with the terrorism in Kashmir? Answer that.

Inamul Bashir, he only mentioned about islamic terrorists, not just muslim. I am a devout Muslim who believe in the sanctity of the religion. Don't let fundamentalistic thoughts ruin good relationships from people from other religion. Let us respond to these types of messages in peace and not make more and more people think Islam is a bad religion.
I have been in Kashmir Many times in summer but was fed up by seeing same spot in Sringar time and again Now atleast I have something new to see. I think it will create an conducive environment for develpment and growth of valley and will give impetus to tourism
Perhaps the CM Ghulam Nabi Azad could spend some funds to set up gardens all over Kashmir, it may give the people some peaceful corner to sit in amidst so much violence, and may give a lift to tourism so stability will bring money to the people and they will stop being brainwashed into warring for political purposes.
Kashmir had once been a "Paradise".... We lost this "Paradise"...Realized its worth...& now r in search of this LOST PARADISE... Though a lot of precious time has been wasted.... alot of time has been taken to understand the facts...but mistakes can be rectified & as they sy DAER AYATH DURUST AYAETH...Tulip Garden is gr8 effort & a nice way to add to the beauty of this place...Atleast something apart 4m the construction of concrete buildings that is usually considered a mark of PROGRESS of a State

Salam us kashmiri par jo kashmir ko dil mein basaye huway hay..but all said kashmir has been made a hell..dal lake is dying, there is no body to care ..corruption is at its peak..innnocents are killed..number of orphans have increased..much more worse situation we people are facing..but still we are determined and can faces all forces against us
Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed
Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear Oh, oh.
Oh, I been flying... mama, there ain't no denyin' I've been flying, ain't no denyin', no denyin'
All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land Trying to find, trying to find where I've been.
Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream Heed the path that led me to that place, yellow desert stream My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon, I will return again Sure as the dust that floats high in June, when movin' through Kashmir.
Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails, across the sea of years With no provision but an open face, along the straits of fear Ohh.
When I'm on, when I'm on my way, yeah When I see, when I see the way, you stay-yeah
Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, when I'm down... Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, well I'm down, so down Ooh, my baby, oooh, my baby, let me take you there

hey very nice of u Pranat but i hope u know that that the inspiration for this song was not Kashmir but the Morroccan landscape .....hey chill i mean no harm just for trivia's sake :)
Set like a jewelled crown on the map of India, Kashmir is a many faceteddiamond, changing character with the seasons - always extravagantly beautiful.....Kashmir is as beautiful as Goddess Parvati manifest; and its owner is Lord Shiva Himself."Gar Bar-ru-e-Zamin Ast ; Hamin Ast ,Hamin Ast Hamin Asto" Meaning if there is paradise on this earth : This is it, this is it, this is it.
