No, Mr. Narayan Murthy should not be made the president. Its just a decorative post and will serve no purpose and all the politcal formalities will be a drain on Mr. Murthy invaluable time.
Besides all his valuable suggestions to improve India will be barked down by the uncivilized parliamentarians.
If anything Mr. Murthy should be made the Prime Minister, or if he has to be the president then we should have a presedential form of democracy where the prez takes the decisions and is not a mere rubber stamp.
Though it is hard to find a replacement for Dr. Kalam, Mr. Murthy will be the best choice. One worthy son of the soil would be replaced by another one. Both have made us proud of being INDIANS
President Kalam should be given a second term in office. However if he does not wish to continue then Mr Narayana Murthy would be an excellent choice .
A great idea only comes from great mind. It is good that Dr Kalam has suggested another intellectual person for the top post. either second term of Dr. Kalam or Mr. Narayanmurthy is the only option but what to do with these politicians, how can we replace these craps with good intellectual ppl who thinks about the progress of country
President Kalam should be given a second term in office. However if he does not wish to continue then Mr Narayana Murthy is an excellent choice to succeed him.
Though I strongly believe that Mr. Kalam should be given a second chance at Rashtrapathi Bhavan, there is no doubt that Mr. Murthy is the ideal successor to Mr. Kalam. The good days for India are back with visionaries sitting on the throne. After all the unworthy people to donn the chair as rubber stamps after Dr. Radhakrishnan, the Indian youth could breath fresh air with Mr. Kalam being elected the President. Mr. Murthy is the next best choice, as he empowered the Indian middle class. Though his company is one of the best in India, he is not amongst the richest Indian, which shows that he believes in sharing wealth. The Infosys foundation is working towards introducing computer education in government schools, which the government will not take up even for the next ten years. After seeing all the selfish politicians holding major portfolios, it is really great that India is reacting.
Let the president of India be any body , the only qualification is that his Decisions should not be infulenced by any Politican . For example Mr.Kalam returned the file of MP's on the issue of Holding the post of Office of Profit but ultimately he was infulenced by Politicans to Sign it .This should not happen to The President of India. His decisions should be Independent and Impartial.

Acc to Indian constitution, A president can reject the bill only once. If the same bill is sent to him the second time without even changing the comas and full stops, it has to be signed by him. He does not have the constitutional powers to reject it again.
