give Dr Kalam another term!
by Contpay on Apr 09, 2007 12:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dr Kalam has done a wonderful job as President, esp in giving our children a person worth emulating.. that is the need of the hour! His approach is secular and he has actually been a thinking & doing President, instead of being just a rubber-stamp, as most of past presidents have been. Hwe is also loved & respected by the armed forces.
So he must be given another term. full stop!

Mr.Narayanamurthy - President
by ranjeet reddy on Apr 09, 2007 12:09 PM  Permalink

I think that is a good idea to have him in the highest office of the country. He is a man with integrity and built his company with right values. It is right time that educated people enter the political arena and run this country.

But will this stupid & and uneducated politicians allow a man with spine to be in presidential office?

Prez job is not managing a software company
by ravi babu dara on Apr 09, 2007 12:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr Murthy can do a fantasitc job as a president of CII or FICCI or other similar jobs but not a the first citizen of india. Take for instance the Bangalore International airport project . Instead of fighting against the baseless statements of Deve gowdas statements he rather chose to resign the post. Such timid acts shows his perseverence as a leader.I feel Mr Murhty is not worthy to take that highest post of the Indian Government.

Murthy may be a little different

Kalam was useless as President. Remember the Office of Profit Bill he signed mutely.Oneof the Biggest Shame of Indian Parliament. The power hungey politicians ganged up, they were not ready to forego their chairs of power and money.

But Murthy could be different, but even he is not a 'Sheshan'.

Narayan Moorthy as next President?
by Ahi Sen on Apr 09, 2007 12:06 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The passing remark in reply to a unmeant suggestion need not disturbe peace of mind. There are many successfull businessmen and Mr. Moorthy is one amongst them. But President's post is not to run a corporate office but to lead a nation. The nation demands a person of repute who has a vision to shape the country's future maintaining secular fabrick of the country.
