Mr. Murthy can be a very good president. But the only problem is being a president is a full time activity. And he he should run for it only if he is prepared to leave his business and take up the task. One of reason why he left the Blore airport work is because it requires lot of time and patience to get things like these done in our messy political system. Being head of Infosys does not allow him to have that of time for other big things. I dont think he will be able to handle both responsibilities. He will have to leave Infy if he has to make mark as President.
I would support his selection, but after 2nd term given to Dr. Kalam. We have no reason to deny him second term. He has done excellent work as President of India. He should be elected for the second term without any doubt.
Narayan Murthy is good person to elect president post. this is good suggestion. but i think Abdul Kalam sir is elect once more to president post. rajitha
It would be a d day when narayanamurthy becomes president of this country. A fellow who got his education through scholarship kickec back that ideology and says everyone In IIMs should take a loan and pay hefty fees to join IIMs. Is he trying to make india one more USA and everyone to die with their inability to clear the loan. He will ruin the country if given the post who thinks he is the country as though INfosys alone is running the country and make everyone in this country as beggers. He is worser than even Zail singh or V.V. Giri

Remember the Office of Profit Bill he signed mutely.One of the Biggest Shame of Indian Parliament. The power hungry politicians of Congress and Left ganged up, they were not ready to forego their chairs of power and money. They shed all ideolagical pretence and sent the bill a second time to Mr. Kalam and he signed !! Sonia Gandhi shamelessly took her office of profits after resigning and again getting reelcted as MP!!!
But Murthy could be different, but even he is not a 'Sheshan'
