my opinion is mr. kalam should accept the 2nd term if political parties insist him, otherwise mr. kalams suggestion should b considered,, If The top post occupied by like these peoples the inspiration among all walks of life would b very high.. this is my opinion
under kalam we learnt how to dream and work towards a better india. under narayanamurthy we will learn how to complain against each and everything... and not do a thing.
Actually we don't need any educated person to be the President of this country. A village bumpkin would be sufficient to put his rubber stamp and sign (so sad, the president has to know to sign; the constituion needs to be amended) wherever his political masters require him to do so. People like Mr. Murthy are a nuisance to this country trying to infuse progressive,idealogical and competitive ideas in the minds of simple Indians.
How can we think of Mr.Narayanmurthy being the president of our great country India, allready we have a president Dr.Abdul Kalam for the past 5 years who has been the most Powerless presidents. Basically a president should be the one who had worked amongst the people at the grass root level and know the pulse of the people in the villages. Dr.Kalam was a scientist ,in what way can his background is helping our country. I use to admire some of our stong presidents like Respected K.R Naryan who acted with power and Wisdom.
We are at the crucial juncture of world history , we need a man with a vision, passion and understanding of our country, a person like Ramamurthy is fit to be the presdent of Infosys, and not our country, you know chandra babu naidu statrted to run his administration through lap top he was finally thrown out. Mr.Ramamurhty sitting in his A/C room without knowing politics and the full background of what%u2019s happening in the villages , he cannot fit into the role of President.
So , people P.C. Alexander , Mr. Ray ,Arjunsingh , Shekawat etc are suitable for that post.Mr Murthy please do not be over ambitious.

PC Alexander, Siddarth Ray, Arjun Singh hv never worked at grassroot levels they have lived in the ivory towers failing to understand what is is the general/popular view. Mr Kalam is the best example of a person who had a low begining. Simple check the assets of all the personalities at the begining of their career and now. Only Mr Kalam will pass of test of not acquiring wealth for himself family and relatives.
I respect Mr. Narayana Murthy a lot. I respect him for creating Infosys and running it so beautifully. I respect him for putting India into a special in a special place on the world map. I respect him to utmost of my capacity. But sorry, my capacity is limited when it comes to respecting men who have destroyed their wife's career.
Its very Funny when we talks like this sitting in Metro cities,I suggest you all to go to small cities and rural area where also young generation are taking IT education and they have also some dreams to work for big companies like Infosys.I hope you still remember the statement by Narayan Murty about the education system in India. Infosys idiology(Naryan Murty) is to take the cream from the big cities only.You should understand the fact that in Metro 95% is the mark obtained by the topper(CREAM),while in small cities or C grade cities(forget about rural area) 70% is the mark obtained by the topper(useless CREAM).Educated people like Murty wants a specific people from specific section of society.Hence he is one of the member of the superpower community in india that are dividing the society based on the opportunity/education/job. So infosys is still the "Company of Dream but will never be the Company of people".
Please increase your social awareness and knowledge before discussion anything foolish like this.
People like Narayana Murthy are nothing but 'glorified head hunters' who are good in PR and marketing. Why do we glorify these head hunters, always like the media hype about themselves that make them demigods? If anybody in the IT deserve much respect is Kohli of TCS, who worked hard to put India on the IT map. How many even know and remember Kohli?
I think its great to have Mr. Murthy as the preseident of INDIA. He had a vision and a dream to succeed and has acheived it in a very short tenure. I feel the president sould have a vision for the growth and prosperaty of the country as a whole, i see these qualities in him. Please do not forget his contribution to this nation's per capital income.
