by jayashankar sk on Apr 09, 2007 05:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Murthy should not be a president of India, would rather be the PRIME MINISTER of India, however based on only one condition - No Dirty Politics.

Next President should be Mr.Kalam or Mr. Narayana Moorthy
by Radhakrishnan Meiyappan on Apr 09, 2007 05:28 PM  Permalink

Kalam has given a true value for the President of India post. He should stand for this time and if he is not willing then we can give support for Narayana Moorthy. But one thing, no politician should come in that post. President post should be given for the people who has contributed for Indian economy.

He is right choice
by slave kris on Apr 09, 2007 05:28 PM  Permalink

Well, the best choice is, to ask Dr.Kalam to accept the second term. In case he does't accept, NM is the best choice. But can our politicians think differently?. I dont think so. Especially with congress at centre, the part which is known for putting its puppets as governers and Presidents, its highly impossible to think of NM as president. Only BJP can think so different and they had chance to appoint president once, and they did it. Dr. Kalam, we can say, a trend setter for president post. Let intelectuals precede intelectuals. The only other person who would suit to the post is Shashi Tharoor who would add lot of glamour to the post ( in fact he could have added glamour to UN secretary general post if he was elected). Lets pray god that Narayana Murthy would be elected as president.

president is tooth less
by Murthy on Apr 09, 2007 05:28 PM  Permalink

President doesn't have any powers. He has to sit folding his hands & can't do any thing . So that post is no use.
