When a scitist can become prez, why not an entreprenour, who built a world class company single handedly. We require honesty than any thing else

Narayana Murthy may not agree
by ab on Apr 09, 2007 05:58 PM  Permalink

Murthy may not agree for this offer. He is no non sense man. He can not tolerate these dirty politicians. In case of Bangalore International Airport, in case of some criticism, he immediately resigned. Thus, even he becomes President, he may not be there full time - Mr Murthy, have a nice retired life. Do not come into this dirty world of politics.

Indian Politics
by on Apr 09, 2007 05:51 PM  Permalink

I would totally disagree with this because this position generally doesnt have any power or major decision making to lead the nation or take radical decisions. For a reformer like Murthy,I would suggest him to role of an active reformer for the country that will yeild results instantly and crack the whip if needed....

After Kalam, Murthy is the best bet for the Top Post
by Rajat on Apr 09, 2007 05:50 PM  Permalink

Narayan Murthy is very strict person, he may not be favorite choice for the politicians. This strictly time bound person will make them miserable. This guy is nowhere suits political parties requirement for the top post.

But for India, he could be best candidate for persidentship. I hope Mr. Murthy will hold that post.

You know i think there is no need of a president.. Does he have some work other than looking after the mughal garden. The raj bhavan should be given to some real estate agent to sell it or rent it . That is better. The prime minister can take care of what the president is doing.
