Kalam is son of soil. but NRN is son of toil. India deserves both. Since the president is varchuvally without work NRN kan kansider presidensy as one more board direktorship and kantinue his present work.

Prez Kalam should continue.....
by Gaurav Sharma on Apr 09, 2007 10:59 PM  Permalink

Being one of the most respected citizens, Narayan Murthi would've been an excellent choice but since we already have one of the most distinguished and eminent sons of this nation as the president, I would like APJ Abdul Kalam to continue as the President. He is respected worldwide and is a revered figure for all Indians.....

Moreover, I don't think the left with their double standards would allow a capitalist to occupy the highest chair.

There is adundance of innocence still left with our Great President Sri Abdul kalaam. This man murthy may have created a great corporate entity. Narayana Murthy as President, never in our wildest dreams. All these years the politicians have exploited our poor country men. Mr.Murthy is capable of dumping them inOcean, one fine morning.

President gets few chances to act with courage.Good he may be but Kalam failed in this test.Nothing practical ever came from his mouth.Let us try Narayana Murthy. He is a practical man.

Good businessman..not good president
by rajat Mahajan on Apr 09, 2007 10:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

He is not fit to be president of India. He is a capitalist who has projected himself as a socialist. He is one of the richest persons of country. He is very high headed and autocratic person. Never got along with any politician of Karnataka except SM Krishna who gave him all favours. Highly arrogant person. BIG UNFIT FOR PRESIDENT.

Have you seen his Bank balance or what?
If you know he still lives in a 2 Bed room Apartment in Banglore. He is such a simple and downto earth person.
Give me one alternative for the President other then him in the present scenario.. all the Politicains are blood sucking animals and you cannot expect from them anyways..

Oh yeah... when has India become a Communist country, that a Capitalist is being regarded as an UNFIT. Being or not being rich is not the criteria for being President, what matters is their vision.

Kalam should continue
by Gautam Ghosh on Apr 09, 2007 09:48 PM  Permalink

Narayan Murthi is a good candidate for presidency, and mature enough to know that India is not Infosys, but I feel that Kalam has proved that he is the best, and he should be given one more time.

we do not agree to see a an Info man takes over the country. Instead A towering personality like Somnath Chattergee should take over this country as he is an expert in politics...
