See what Kalam has done despite being a great scientist and hounrable person..? Nothing significant.since our constitution is the puppet of PM and assembly. So untill president is not provided with great powers, no eminent and good personalities should be the president of india.
He is a man , who dreamt , planned and executed the vision he had and made Infosys one of the big sucess story of recent history in Indian Business or Software .
2020 of President. Mr.Kalam , his Vision for India need a good Mentor to take forward. If its not Mr.Murthy , there is nobody to be India's Mentor .
Lastly , its time to think as a citizen of Growing India , whether we need the parasites in the form of our POLITICIANS or people who have accountability and who can do a value addition to the position they hold and make the Vision 2020 a acheivable one even at a early date.
Brains of India should think and even the Powers of President to be reviewed enabling them to contribute to the nation or even aboilshing the Prime Minister system ,paving way for Mentors of Indian Business to become India's Head.
Mr. NRN is not just a bussines mentor he is also peceived as gentelman indian, and there is no doubt about his eligibility, At a stage where our economy is growing at speed never before, we need constructive people who can actually guide us to the designation "DEVELOPED INDIA"
If Prez is all abt Face value.. make Amitabh Bachan the Presi ;) Anyway, in country like our he HAS to play a puppet to politicians! And abt NM, well.. India is not Infy with so many ppl on the bench! So let him stay abt from this!!

Gr8! Vat is the dureshan for an aksident? Kan it kantinew for over 20 years?
Who ever becomes President, my request to the probable candidates would be to Present the nation "What they will do if they become President?". Depending upon the answers we can say who is a better candidate
I Welcome the proposal for Narayanamurthy for the President post. But i have 2 concerns ! 1) Will he also be a rubber stamp president and will the Politicians give him free hand for reforms 2) Y time and again we always propose Gud people for President Post only and let Dadas and other criminals rule us for our daily life ?
