If jailsingh, SD Sharma , and somemore dummies of ruling party could become presidents,Naan murthy is much more eligible candidate and highly qualified one.We need proactive and inspiring president.Iwould be happy to have Kalamli as pesident for another five years who has president more nearer to people.I also know that he has better job to do.
No. Let this man be left free. We should think of a more suitable person - seasoned Diplomat, a well known jurist, politically acceptable person with more guts. We should also have a combination of Male as President and female as Vice President - say Mr Shashi Tharoor as President and Ms Renuka Choudhary or Ms Margeret Alva as VP. Let us have a debate on this issue.
Indeed NM is the Best person to be the Next Prez & Fit in the shoes of APJ Kalam. Dont know if NM will be willing to or be comfortable being our next Prez....... But if he does......... We shall be the luckiest.

Hi guys, somebody veru aptly wrote that this is a total waste of time. Its the same as discussing the statement "Should Baba Ramdev be the captain of Indian Team?". With all respects to him, Mr. Murthi might be a very dynamic personality,a social worker and the founder of one of India's fastest growing Software Company, but politics is a different ball game altogether.
Being accomplished in a particular field does not entitle one to become the President of India. The discussion is pointless.
If some one wants to really contribute to the countries wellbeing and overall development that becoming the president would the last thing one should do. As a president of India one has now powers what so ever. In fact one should become the Pres. only few you think that his utlity is over.
I would love to thank our dear President to support Mr Murthy's name as the next President of India. The scary looking Amar Singh scared us so much by suggesting Amitabh Bachhan's name, who can't even give a straight answer re his only son's marriage. But I too feel that Mr Murthy may not have many takers in the political ring because they would be uncomfortable with his dynamic attitude and independent voice.
