by mihir lal bhaumik on Apr 11, 2007 09:08 AM  Permalink

For a change let'have next president from
the field of music & art. I suggest Amjad Ali Khan, sarod maestro or that gentleman who's husband of Shabana Azmi...both are so divinely handsome!

MURTHY IS THE MAN...
by Gaurav Satle on Apr 11, 2007 09:04 AM  Permalink

Murthy is the right choice for presidentship as he has the requisite expertise, experience, qualities, experience and most importantly a definate vision...
I find it foolish when I hear people nominating Amitabh Bachchan. With no disrespect to him, and acknowledgin his incomparable achievements, he is no match to Murthy.

Stop chumcha giri
by cheran on Apr 11, 2007 08:51 AM  Permalink

It shows that there is no limit to do chamchagiri by Infosys trainees. O.K.O.K..you will get good position soon in Infosys. But do not make mockery on NRN who has no understanding what does the national anthem mean for? Very funny na...

Why bring in the Caste here?
The question is about NRN and not his Caste.
NRN should simply retire gracefully from Infy and stick to writing into "Letters to the Editor" columns of Newspapers.

How long you people will continue hate towards Brahmins. He has grown not because of his cast. These days brahmin's are so poor to be categarised under lower caste.

A strong NO
by siddarth swamy on Apr 11, 2007 05:00 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr. Moorthy is a uppercast Brahmin (who takes pride calling himself a Brahmin) and doesn't understand a common man's plight. He would serve no purpose to the post.

I strongly oppose this idea
by Gaurav Kanoongo on Apr 11, 2007 01:03 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We do not want Narayan Murthy to run India like Infosys, we want someone to run it like a nation of Equal opportunities to everyone, Universal civil code, No corruption, Good growth rate, Positive attitude, no communalism. Do you think NM is capable, Ask those who are working at Infy?

my grandfather has been working in infosys for the past dekade. he gets one share per day. no cash salari. so he is amassing welth. my father and i never worked. we live kamfortably and spend time in entertainment only. My grandpa says that he has not heard of any civil code in infosys. about karapshan, he is not sure since he does not get cash salari. he says that growth rate is zigzag. positiv attitude is dependent on self only. kampeni kannot feed it. there is lot of kammunitism but not kammunalism. since i am not much ejukated, i dont no the difference.

Indian President
by KamalaKannan S on Apr 11, 2007 12:22 AM  Permalink

it will be nice to have a person like NRN as a president, but the same time it will be nice to see a strong male or female personality to be in that hot seat who can defend all these silly politicians and make India till more a most powerful country in the world.

can do without NRN
by LAGIDU on Apr 10, 2007 11:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dalits are afraid of a bramin okkupying the rashtrapatibavan. their sentiment has to b kansidered. ven gauda vas made prime minister, p chidambaram thundered that the days of vedicmen okkupying PM post ended once and for all. peepal bekame happy and releeved. similarly with KRN bekaming president. so do not bring back a bramin and set the klock back.

If your views are to be respected, Rabri Devi is best suited for the President Post. So propose her candidature........

Oh Crap!
It's the merit that counts and not the caste. If the lower castes want to feel scared they will feel scared no matter who is in the office.
Sadly, hypocrites like you rule the roost
