Dr. singh, please better understand the juidicary.
by Sudherson V on Apr 08, 2007 09:14 PM  Permalink

Mr Singh,
I didn't expect this from you, your comments on Judiciary were like those of a lay man. You very well know politicians are notorious in enacting laws to benefit themselves like the POTA and Parlimentarians holding second influential positions. In such situations the Ninth Amendment in the constitution will not help. The judiciary has to step in and validate the bills proposed. I encourage this even if it is considered a breach by the Judiciary. Your government like any government shields corrupt officials(IAS, IPS offices), ministers (Laloo). God knows whether Sonia is involved in Bofors case whom you and your subordinates may try to protect using your power of authority. The building democracy stands tall and survives the evil deeds of politicians and executives and a few corupt judicial officers for one reason, that is the pillar called The Judiciary. Please don't undermine it, youth might lose the confidence that they have in The Apex body if people like you speak insensible words.
Regards,
Indian.

Thers no reservation for poor???
by Arvind on Apr 08, 2007 08:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

ppl comming under creamy layer are those backward caste people who are rich and are above the poverty mark..and are nt economically backward..those among creamy layer SC & ST people avail no reservations..they r treated as unreserved people...All SC & ST people till now have to provide a non-creamy layer certificate so as to avail reservation...y to provide reservations for creamy layere OBC ppl only??

where will the poor go then??
the poor are everywhere in evry caste...where will poor go???
where is reservation for poor..
i have always maintained and still maintain tht reservations shd only be given to poor irrespective of caste and creed...cos only they r the needy...rest all rich ppl from all the castes(SC,ST,OBC,Brahmins,Muslims,Christians,Parsis,Sikhs,etc..)can afford higher education and should get it thru their own merit only....

Traditionally seeking alms in the Name of God has been the profession of Brahmins.

BJP = Bharat Jalao Party (godhra, UP riots, masjid demonilition, 95 riots during their regime of 5 years, more riots than rest of the 50 years in just 5 years of their misrule and policy of hindutwa)

BJP = Bahut Jhooti Party.

Did they made Ram temple, attack pakistan when parliament was attacked, reform education system, abolish reservations as promised, abolished article 386 for kashmir, solve kashmir problem, ?

Did they DO ANYTHING AS PROMISED ?

why r u fighting
u seem to be only party workers but may be honest.
remember ur love for ur party is below nation nd
it is the people who have to be good first.
all party leaders r merely "employed persons"
who after getting this coveted feat tend to confirm their survival instinctively

majority
by avi tiwary on Apr 08, 2007 08:40 PM  Permalink

yay! it is true that underprivileged persons are less here to oppose them
but don't be sad because democracy is a rule by majority and in India when P.M. says like this, not far is the day when majority will force its views everywhere citing their being underprivileged
