Pre-announcement

Very impessive technology, but how regrettable that India always announces missile tests in advance. The Chinese, Russians, etc. never did. Blowing the trumpet in advance everytime is risky. How to be sure, rivals will not use their tech muscle to try and sabotage the missile test. Maybe to test rival anti-missile laser, x-ray or whatever system. Maybe the heat shield was not defective on the first test, but some rival was shining a high power energy beam at it, in order to pre-empt Agni success. Ofcourse I don't hope that was the case last time, and wish good luck to the Agni team. I would rather read in the news about the test after it was succesfully done. Failures should be kept confidential, and minimum advance notice given. This is a top-secret business after all. Having said that I'm convinced India allready has long range missiles able to strike anywhere at will, and is keeping it a secret. The Agni III test is just a small taste of India's vast potential.

Right both...the main reason is not to show any person outside but to the indians themselves...

Our Politicians plan this all to gain votes for coming elections. They are least bothered of security or anything else..

THe slogan will be something.."Agni-III is succesful ...this shows that our govt will soon provide employment and food to all"

Pls understand, missile tests have to be announced to all the neighbouring countries in advance and all those likely to be falling in the path have to be notified.
