Its high time we really give up this reservation system. The real downtrodden has never got benefitted out of this. Only the so called backward class who are really welloff are only benefitted. Its only a political gimmick.
Even when the constitution was framed by Ambedkar he suggested this system only for a certain number of years. Its only our politicians adopted this for creating vote bank. This is a sheer a divide an rule policy which britishers followed earlier and is being followed by our ruthless politicians.
I feel there should not be any reservation based on any caste of religion. Anything should be only on merit. Just because a person is from a backward class he doesnt possess any skill to do any job or get entry into educational institutions.
If at all government is really interested in the upliftment of the people then it should identify people who are economically backward and talented and support them indirectly by providing financial facilities etc and never directly.
You can never convert a cat into Tiger !!!.
We are all indians and there should not be discrimination. Everyone should think about this in a more matured way.
If dirty politicians can extended reservations to Muslims and Christians just because they are termed as minorities, then why not the same facility for Brahmins. We are the most eligible community under this theory as we constitute only 3% of the overall population of India.
The BJP has been stripped open and the partys true face, their motives, their hatred for Muslims, and their hypocrisy have all been made very apparent by their release of this communal CD. -- not that it wasnt clear enuf earlier!
The CD is definately meant to flame communal passions and to "appease" the majority hardliner Hindus. It openly advocates and rather preaches hatred against Muslims and portrayes them ALL as terrorists. To call it "highly provocative and inflammatory" is an understatement.
What this CD has also brought to light is the cowardice (or impotence if u will) of the party to even stand upto their preached hatred and to own upto their "mistake" even after the partys top leadership having acknowledged the contents of the CD themselves.
The Godhra incident covered on the CD puts ALL the MUSLIMS on the pedestal for the death on karsevaks and then turns a blind eye to the even more henious crimes of the State sponsored RIOTS which killed far far more MUSLIMS and left countless others homeless/jobless/family-less.
The Riots following the Godhra incident were much more atrocious and monstrous than the burning of the train not just because of the far greater number of victims but because THAT was an act of terrorism by STATE as opposed to an attack by a terrorist organization.
And THIS too when there is till date NO PROOF watsoever of a MUSLIM being responsible for setting the train on fire. For all that we know, the train was set ablaze by Narendra Modi govt hired goons (who could be Hindu or Muslim for name sake) to vent their hatred of Muslims by placing the blame on them and in the process also solidfying their Hindu vote bank.
The sole purpose of a terror outfit is to create terror. Was that the job of Narendra Modi govt too? -- Even assuming that the hired goons were indeed Muslims (tho such scumbags have no religion) from some terror organization.
And till date, what justice have those riot victims got -- Is Narendra Modi behind bars? All of his ministers run around scot-free --thats the justice that has been delivered. So if some day one of these riot victims, who lost his sister, mother and father in the brutal most manners possible was to take it upon himself to avenge their deaths, wouldnt he be labelled a terrorist? AND what if that perosn who saw his sister being raped, his father being burned alive and his mother being clubbed to death was YOU!!! Ever thought about that? Wouldn%u2019t u want to avenge their deaths in the barbaric most way possible?
The bottom line is, BJP and esp its sister parties like VHP, Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena are fundamentally agaisnt the constitution of India; namely Secularism. They despise, loathe, abhor and detest the (Indian) Muslim and anything even remotely related to Muslims -- Be that be even a Muslim name bearing PRESIDENT OF INDIA.
They dont want any progress of Muslims and hate it when other parties even talk of taking up the Muslim cause. Apart from advocating hatred all they have done is add two new words to their vocabulary - Minority appeasement.
Well, someone needs to tell em that -- Minority appeasement -- and -- Minority bashing -- are two sides of the same coin. The truth is: Both these attempts try to perpetuate group identity so that the respective parties can keep alive their own communal vote bank. So when one votes, he does not cast his vote to the better party but to the LESSER EVIL of the two.
GOOD DECISION. I appreciate the guts of the HC. Lets see what supreme court has to say. Atlast the law has started showing us Indian its true meaning. Long Live INDIA

we r referin to them being a minority in INDIA not the world.. india has a majority of hindus.. and in proportion to them the muslim population is a minority.. but as in this particular case what happened was that ..takin the population of UP into consideration..the muslims are not a minority in that particular state..
n 1947 India was in a Japan like position. today japan is both a top 3 economy and a developed nation. india is not. what held india back for past 60 yrs? MUSLIMS
If Muslims were removed from India, population problems and poverty issues would largely be removed.
I think we Hindus and Sikhs are gonna live to regret letting Muslims stay in India and being secular. Lets not blame British totally for this problem, its Jinnah and most of all Nehru and Gandhi, who had power to sort these problems out earlier but DID NOT.
For past 60 yrs census shows muslim population percentage in India increases by 1% and Hindu population percentage drops by 1%. Muslims are now 13% of Indias pop'n and Hindus just over 80%.
We still have time to sort this mess out but we need to do lots of groundwork and Hindus, buddhists, jains, christians and sikhs need to unite to push muslims out of india and in to pakistan and bangladesh.

Christians are more dangerous than muslims. Converted SC/ST christians are more fanatical than even the Taliban. Even Al-Qaida does not come any where these bloody converted christians.
The threat of Evangelical christians is far more than Muslims. In fact DGS Dhinakaran of Tamil Nadu is bent upon treating Muslims in very poor light. Evangelical Christians speak ill of every religion. To every non-muslim, they speak that if Muslims ever read the Bible, they would never read the Quaran.

Hey dude ! Open ur eyz, refresh ur brains, come down to the reality, dont live in a fantasy world !! Haan i do agree that the growth rate and the population increase are directly proportional, but u gotta admit one thing that that is not the prime reason why India is still struggling to reach the developed nations list. The reason is YOU..........yesss its YOY kinda people make this country diverting its youth energy for fighting among, instead of using it for the development of the nation. Take out the relegious rivalry and think about the growth of the nation and work hand in hand to achieve that goal.....then YOU could, India CAN ! Because of your kinda mentality the dirty politicians investing on it.....and nobody worry about how and where the hell they lead the country; instead we get busy with fighting and killing other relegions!! How Pathetic ! See I am true Muslim, I believe in Islam, and thats why I love my country, I LOVE INDIA, because it is mandatory for a TRUE MUSLIM to love and die for his country, if needed. Also, I have learnt frm my relegion that you should love others and respect their relegious symbols.....Thats wat called Islam. I accept the new generation od Muslims who doesnt know abt the Islam and they simply start so called "Gihad". The second main factor why India is still behind the finish line in the race of excellency is PAKISTAN ! We spend 30-40% of our annual budget for military stuffs, especially to protect the country from `neighbours, ! The amount could be well used for the improvement of the infrastructures in India. Imagine, during the last Indo Pak war , if India had continued its military operations (remmbr, Nehru stoped it , for "some" reasons) the world map wouldnt be having the map of Pakistan, and we could have reduced the miltary expedeture by 20%. So please dont shoot the shrubs my dear Singh !

Dude! Do you think it is feasible? Think of a Muslim who is staying in kerala. Do you want him to go to some other country where he has doesnt even know the language? And is it right to have prejudice against someone just because of faith? And mind you, you may call yourself a sikh or I might call myself a Hindu but is it my faith?? It is just the faith which i inherited from my parents. The word faith should be abolished and rephrased as inherited membership to a particular religious clan!
