Bad health of india
by him agg on Apr 04, 2007 10:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

mr prime minister shd be aware of fact that indian poverty and health cant be improved by just giving big big speeches.WHO has recommended 5% od GDP to be spent on health for evry country.in our country only 2% is spent by government.and one cant even imagine the pathetic conditions of our government hospitals where humans are dying like rats as there are no facilities available.Above all you increase the reservation to 50% so that instead of doctors there should be morons and illiterates doing all sorts of experiments on poor patients.long live shinning INDIA wow!

saarc
by sumantoke bagchi on Apr 04, 2007 09:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We in the SAARC region represent almost 25% of world population at a local level. This does not include those who are from this region but do not stay in this region but in other regions (Gulf countries, US, UK etc)and make a huge contribution to those economies. If we can make a difference here, we can make a difference to the entire world. Let us overcome our narrow differences and make this region a success story for the world and the future

a message from surgeon from usa,,,who wanna come back to india to practise
by tapan shah on Apr 04, 2007 08:40 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

i appreciate your view for future india, but dont you think sir president, you need more power to really impliment few things in india. i feel so sorry we still cant concentrate on the real problems, we are moving towards develop countries but we still havent seen our most vital issues and that is health and education. i believe poverty is due to lack of education and a poor vision from our past politician who didnt wanted this poor to get up and grow,,,cos they knew if they did, they wont be getting the vote in their next election. india still consist of the population who is poor and poor educated, so lets decide first do we have to target poverty financially or education vise...lets target first the later issue and make every one self reliant. nothing should be free and nothing should be granted,,,no department in government would be given salary if they dont earn their own revenue and lets stop politician evoking issues of religious and other things....you should give a 5 points...the most vital point for india and the politician are suppose to speak and fight and show their work in that 5 fields only .....to the ppl when they go for re-election.....see who fairs ...the most..........sir,,,another request...please give more lectures to younger generation...and encourage them to enter politics...i am the one to dream to be a future good politician ...of india...if the bad lets me to be good forever....thanks mr president

PM's noble thoughts
by KUMARENDRA Mallick on Apr 04, 2007 08:39 PM  Permalink

Hon'ble dear Prime Minister,

In order to fight poverty, illiteracy etc. as you have pronounced, the sharp swords of corruption in our political and beaurocratic systems need to be blunted. And who shall do it ? The Prime Minister of India only has to do it. And no body else. Instead of 'should be done', please say 'I shall do'. Then the fruits of progress will flow in.
