SAARC is nothing but a grouping of impoverished, fighting and underdeveloped terrorism infested countries. No wonder the new entrant Afghanistan proves this point with India and Pakistan. Its goals and means to achieve them are non-existent which clearly shows in the achievemnts of these countries in the last 50 years. The next 50 years are also gloomy for this grouping.

Pity On The Slaves!

It shows that someone has never understood the meaning of free thought and freedom in life, that is why one is inclined for the mechanically driven society ruled by despots who are so corrupt that they have murdered dissent in every way to emerge as a history writer in monologue.

Our India government only honestly committed
by ashok iyer on Apr 03, 2007 01:44 PM  Permalink

Have all other participants countries are committed to adhere what we discussed in SAARC meeting. Only very few of them that also they will see how it will benefit to their country then only they will proceed but certainly once Pakistan left from the summit he will do all the evil activites which no SAARC countries questioned him.

KASHMIR SOLUTION
by deepak deepak on Apr 03, 2007 01:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Kashmir Solution:

1. Create an independent " AZAD KASHMIR" ( with POK & a part of indian kashmir but not srinagar.)
2. Create a Union Territory of Srinagar.( With srinagar & kargil)
3. Create a UNION TERRITORY of Ladhakh.
4. Create a state of Jammu ( Kathua, Udampur, Poonch, Rajouri, Samba)

By doing this Azaad Kashmir with Muzzafarabad as capital will be buffer country with Union Territory of Kashmir, Ladhakh & state of Jammu.

What u say ?????

No more Divisions. If people living in Indian Kashmir dont like to stay with India, can happyly migrate to POK.

Let focus on the Socio-Economic Development of region by create greater apportunities for Higher & Technical Education, Employment, Business & Tourism .

Focus on the changing the mind set of people from socio-religious to socio-economical

Creation of above union territories might help for better administration.

SAARC OBJECTIVE
by surinder kaul on Apr 03, 2007 01:25 PM  Permalink

SAARC has been playing a vital role since its inception. This year Afghanistan is joining as eighth member which is a welcome step. I can only hope that all South Asian countries and members of SAARC come together and conclude upon terrorism. A terrorist has no religion and respect. Innocents are being brutally killed in the name of %u201CAllah%u201D. The heads of all South Asian countries should not leave the room till they come up with a solution. Once we over come this menace rest issues like economic prosperity, inter states trade, Political ones can follow.

I DON'T KNOW WHY PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THE POLITICS OF THESE SOUTH ASIAN COUNTRIES. IN SAARC WHAT THEY DO ARE JUST MAKING NON-SENSE TALKS.

MAKE SOME SENSE OF SAARC. MAKE SOME STRONG DICISIONS, MAKE SOME UNITY APPROACH TO THE SOUTH ASIAN PEOPLE. WE ALL KNOW THAT SOUTH ASIAN PEOPLE ARE USED IN WESTERN COUNTRIES AS HARD LABOURERS. SOUTH ASIAN PEOPLE STILL FACING SO MANY CRISIS.

WHAT TYPE OF CO-ORDINATION THEY WILL MAKE?

WHERE IS CO-ORDINATION AND CO-OPERATION IN SAARC? THE SAARC COUNTRIES JUST WASTING MONEY OF THEIR GOVERNMENTS. SIMPLY THE MONEY WHICH TO BE UTILISED IN EDUCATION ARE UTILISED IN DEFENCE.

SIMPLY NOTHING BUT RIDICULOUS.

Expectations From SAARC
by kapil sharma on Apr 03, 2007 12:33 PM  Permalink

Just now was reading editorial in one of the Pakistani sites Dailytimes.com.pk with a heading Don't put Disputes First at SAARC.

I must commend the editor for writing a soothing piece. It was not an itelligent piece but did drive home a simple point that Common Pakistani like Common Indian wants a peacefull/prosperous life. Lot of complicate Issues will automatically disappear if all the SAARC neighbours acheive certain level of prosperity and can ascertain a definitive future for their younger/new generation. Hope this SAARC summit will be Productive/Fruitfull...

2) Pak is with India, Afghanitan
3)Nepan & Bhutan refugee problem
4)Sri Lanka Ethnic Conflict,
