This is not a eathquake, but this was a special devised underground missile developed by USA to trace out and bring out the undergrounded osama, so that uSA can trap him and punish him like saddam. But god is there that this type of tactis wont work for USA, ther will be no much success of this effort also.

The Hindus should be loyal to India and stop dividing the country in name of caste. The muslims and christians are anyway loyal and they dont need a certificate from Hindu's (like pritam joshi) to call them self loyal.

Dear Friends, Its bad to see many comments as suggesting that it's a punishment from God to Pakistanis and North Indians. Now let Pakistan deal with their own matters not forgetting the human beings there. Look at Japan. They wont criticise anybody for an earthquake there or for volcano. They have mastered building technology that could resist earthquake and save precious human life. We in India must be aware of this and our scientists together with governemnt should come up with some framework and suggestions to overcome this problem. Today north india is hit. it may be some other place tomorrow. And when any one close to us get inured it wont be nice to hear people saying its punishment from god. think logically and before accusing external things look into ourself, what we are contributing, and to waht extent. the image of india is poor and young and educated rediff users should take this opportunity to come up with something creative and useful that could oneday change the image of India. Think about Japan who has almost no resources but always in teh danger of natural calamities. Its time to change friends. shall we join hands?

So you mean that devastation by Sunami in South India and Sri Lanka was punishment, Earth Quack in Gujrat was punishment, Hurrican Katrina was punishment-? What to say-?
The scientific community is still not able to predict efectively the happening of such disasters like earth quake and Sunami etc. They shall takethis challange and turn this to an opportinity instead of putting most of the enrgy on inventing WMDs.
A humble request to all that we shall also put our energy on constructive discussion instead of critising in tha name of religion. Any one can be trapped in such disasters and India is no more excpetion after earthquake in Bhuj and Sunami in South India.

Its extremely difficult to predict earthquakes..it happen due to movement of huge land masses(Tectonic plates)..its not even possible to predict when a stick will break when you bend it..we are long way from predicting the failure of tectonic plates..may be in a few centuries time we will be able to.
