A great country like ours deserves an eminent person like Dr.Kalam as its 1st citizen. He deserves a 2nd term. He has proved that he will not tolerate nonsense from the elected members. He is the only person who can unite this deeply divided nation. Divided on religious, caste & class lines. Not only that he should continue as the president but should also be considered for the post of prime minister perhaps.He should be given all the options.
This presidency should continue. If a political man sits there he will unnecessarily meddle in cheap party politics as we have seen in some earlier presidencies. It is better to have an honest technocrat at the ceremonial helm. Who better than a true to the core patriot than Kalam?

Congress will not support him... It's funny that BJP, projected as the anti muslim party by the media is behind best president of India Inc... who is a Muslim :)

really i cant beleive why BJP is supporting our president as he is not a politician and a good person
India will be very lucky if Hon'able Kalam Sir accepts to continue for the second term of the office. He is the only person who can lead the Country efficently and can bring many more changes and oppertunities to the up coming generation. At present there is no person eligible for that position. Sir Kalam has all the attitude, vision and ability to bring this country No.1 in the world.
This country needs Sir Kalam.....all the young generation will be happy and lucky to have such a nice President.
Soniaji was denied the primeministerail position by APJ Kalam's councilling. The wrath for congress is still there. Profitable post bill was also genuinely rejected by him. How do you expect these crooks to accept him. May be Keeping UP elections in mind, they may say, let APJ( The Muslim) be a president again. He needs a better support. Congress is a crooked party. Let's not forget that.

Rightly commented. He should remain President for his entire life time - country needs him for a long long long time.
Its a matter of great prestige that our highest offices in our land are today occuppied by very highly educated eminent citizens. Our President has to be given a second term as he has been instrumental in bringing life to the otherwise ghostly mansion called Rashtrapati Bhavan!! He has instilled dreams in or next generation and all of us now feel a new sense of Optimism towards our own and country's future.
