by ashok nair on Apr 05, 2007 01:30 PM  Permalink

bring back your child and live in india, before you do ensure that you have asked indians for their forgiveness for all the things that you have said about india in USA to further your causes and for all the illegal activites that you have done while abroad. Shame on you, shame on rediff and i hope rediff will sack the journalist who has written this and wasted our valuable time.... rediff should hire an editor ASAP and if it already has one, it has to fire him on priority.

Lets look at the issue of immigration rules
by samson lawrence on Apr 05, 2007 11:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

why should Indians be treated as blacklisted people? Why should we be judged on a different yardstick?
If US citizens can easily come to India why should we have so much restriction?
Why are only rich Indians welcome from here? Are all non-rich Indians villains?
And why is their this Assylum thing for Indians?
As far as the people mentioned in this article goes no sympathies. You have enough money to go to Canada, go there and visit your child from time to time.

hello Samson,

nice questions raised but let me clarify some points,
for the question about why rich indians are allowed to US is the fact that in case if the person did not find a job in US atleast he will have some back coming from his indian home. This avoids people getting attracted to illegal activities to make quick buck.Unless there is a restriction, people will stay in US for longer times than intended.
