It is very painful to wait for their son's call daily but the whole situation is the result of their own acts. Even this guy is shameful of using his given name Kanhaiya (named after hindu god Krishna) and changed it to Ken to live under disguise. People like these should be banned from visiting any foreign countries as they portray a very bad image of India to outside world.
R they crying for their missing or missing money. Its not gr8 to be only one Indian family in one of USA town. Again the reason to show as best citizen is arrogant.. Whats the problem to him to be a Indian citizen. They already tasted the money for 16 yrs.. with out returning their home at all. then whats the problem if their son stays there. I was a fan of Rediff, now a days its publishing these rubbish stories with out meaning or use.

there is no use of immigrating to us,canada,australia or applying to study there..at the end of the day one has to work for indian,chinese companies.nowadays,india has more resources than what the developed nation has.People in developed countries have so much of loans,no jobs,they live a life of extravagaence and there job being outsourced to india,china,mexico,they end up filing for bankruptcy.there is only labour jobs left there.all the skilled work(which uses brain) is gone outsourced.
guys,live in india,watch and experience india becoming super power.

Let the couple be glad that India takes its pride very lightly. We allow all sorts of traitors to spew their venom on India. This gent was certainly not a bottle feeding infant when he went to the USA. He has to take responsibility for his life. No sympathy for him. We should actually deport him or arrest him for lying about the conditions in India. People who are interested to stay in the US should be allowed to go. Only do not give them any special status when they return with their tails tucked between their legs. Why anyone should even want to go to a country that treats Indians like so much manure really baffles me. It shows the intellectual level and the kind of pride we have in ourselves and our country.
They should be deported from India too.. Crying for baby... cant ur baby come and stay with you here...we have best of schools and universities... But yeah here we have smarter children.. so it will be difficult for ur baby to compete in spelling competition...
I strongly believe that these guys did not goto US as student. They could sneak to US some how and stayed there illegally for so long. I also believe that they are not so ashamed of what they shown as a reason to live in US. If they ashamed of what they did, they wouldn't have to India. I was very fan of rediff once. Now I hate rediff. Rediff is posting so senseless artical by adding some MASALA to it.
Ridiculous though it sounds, let us for the samke of an argument accept that Kanhai (sorry, can't you Ken, dude) was ignorant about what his lawyer applied for on his behalf, why can't he bring his son back to India and get him a good education. There are countless good institutes in India and I am sure this guy has made a decent money during his stay.
After his education, the son can always go back to the US, since he is an American by birth. Why his this couple making a desparate attempt to go back?
