Politicians are promising the moon. Why don`t they reserve 30% of seats for women in assemblies,councils, Lok sabha and Rajya sabhas . Why political parties don`t give 30% of tickets to women? Why not 27% of seats in all legislatures to OBC ? Why MSc nurses doing government jobs not made gazetted officers? Why are Nursing officers in Army "second class" officers? Why are there no women or no OBC in politiburo s of communist parties and regional parties? How many OBC s are there in Congress working committee? Social justice only in Higher educational centres and nowhere else.?

First about K.R.narayanan: president enjoys several benefits..it is one of them he used for his daughter..so since K.R. Narayanan made a mistake to awail reservation, it dosent mean even you should..if tomorrow K.R.narayanan start begging on the road, will you do the same??
reservation can be given only to the poor and needy (whatever be the caste etc..)..There should be no reservation for the rich, even if he is from OBC or SC/ST..those who get selected based on merit and those who are economically poor should only get admissions...
can u explain the need for reservation for creamy layer??its just vote bank politics friends..you people support these leaders only because u r benefiting out of it..because u knw tht u may nt get admissions based on ur merit..cos u dnt have the capacity or urge..i have heard so many of reserved category students saying that they are aiming only for 55-60% in MH CET (when asked by teachers about their target score)..whereas any studious student or unreserved stud would aim around 98% to get selected in a good college..thats the truth..what can u expect such students who aim less to become in future..they are just hogging over the seats and because of such students the deserving students are left behind..and it is sad that reservation is misused..only those people from rich OBC and SC/ST families awail reservation... where is the poor???
what Supreme court has done and asked is very right..where is the poor and who are OBC's..where is the data to show OBC's or SCST..where will meritorious students go??is there any justification for making reservation for creamy layer??

Reservations are legislative (not judicial or society) response to historical social injustices to certain sections of the society.
If upper caste people who are less than 10% in India do not like reservations or to live with rest of the Indians, we are offering a separate state/nation to them.

When people with money power are able to buy seats in medicine and engineering ,what is wrong in asking for quotas for socially backward.Let govt finance education and close totally private educational insititutes in all fields right from primary to higher education and let us see the results.why dont we ask for neighbourhood schools(like in US) where only condition is residing in near by places and not the money or social status is criteria in getting admissions.Otherwise let us take afresh census reg caste wise distribution of population and present job holdings in both private and govt sectors.or shall we agree for division of posts , jobs on the basis relative nos of different castes (ratios) in total population?point is who is cornering most of the jobs ?people who argue for merit must also argue against money's role in getting good education.also is it not a fact that people belonging to higher castes and rich people ocupying influential positions in banks , psus and service commisions are taking partisan roles in selection process/promotional policies?

My dear friend, First put the question to the Govt that why it had abrogated its responsibility of providing for education to all even though this the fundamental right of all citizens of this country. Since the govt had failed to meet its responsibilities, it had allowed the private colleges into the scene. Once it is a private college they would find means of making a success of their venture and if people are willing to pay then they shall collect the money and provide education. Will you send your child to a government school? Are you not aware of the stste of this school where the education is almost free, but even then every parent aspires to send their children to Private Primary and secondarty schools paying hefty fees irrespective of the caste they belong to. What do you think by giving reservations in the elite institutions the poor in the OBC's will be able to get seats. No, it is the well of OBC's who have gone to the best of schools all through their academic life will be able to make it through with the back door entry provided by reservations. so my friend reservation is not an answer to the questions raised by you. The answer is to see through the dirty mind of the politician who just by giving certain reservation create the division, indulge in vote bank politics, create ghettoisation of minds of people and then make merry at all our cost. Till the time you talk of reservations and not pull them up for not providing the basic education with proper schools and teachers, these politicians will continue this policy of divide and rule. Today it is OBC, tomorrow it will be something else. Did you ever demand from these politicians to reserve 69% of seats in Assemblies and Parliament and ministries for SC/ST/OBC. First fight for that and then see.

All courses per se should be made specialised and four or five years in graduation. All courses except arts and commerce should have subjects of engineering science langauge and medicine on a broad perspective so that the candidate can fit into any area and then learn the related specialisation. NO MBBS,Engineering, B.Sc.etc.All should be called bachelors degree nad include many subjects as in high school so any one can take any job and latter specialize latter in the work spot. Then only these problem can be solved.

The costitution makers gave ample opportunity for the Goverments in power since 1950(the first elected Government was seen in 1952 when the first election was held and CONGRESS CAME TO POWER EVERYWHEREIn forty years, Congress was in centre upto 1977, thats 25 years .IT IS MORE THAN ONE GENERATION FOR UPLIFTMENT OF THE BACKWARDS!EFFORT AND MONEY WISE 25 YEARS OF EFFORTS CAN TRANSFORM THE PICTURE! Don't worry as per Sachar Commity report, the Central will implement atleast 15% reservation for Indian Minority. Don't worry about it, the Indian minority is edible for the reservation.
But now pls give full support for the 27% OBC reservation.

r U DUDH ka dhula. Wht abt ur activities in Gujarat, Srilanka, Nepal, Naxal areas etc. Mention a single act done by muslim so called terrorist and not done by U hindu terrorists. FYI, terrorist is a person who creates terror in mind of people. But u people have given definition of terrorist as a Muslim who explodes bomb irrespective of how much bombs r dropped on them and how much of them r killed in riots. U want capital punishment for Mumbai blasts, but in last 50 yrs thousands of muslims r killed and not even a single got leave aside capital punishment not even life term. What is this?
SC gives a decision Govt wants to contest and try untill it achieves its aim that reservation per se should be implemented some how by winning the court or with amendment. All this for poll politics. The questions is why governement is harping on reservation only in professional courses and not in primary schools and graduate courses. Again why not give all people in the name of resevation straight away top posts whether they are capable or not. The Capitation donation schools for only central government emplooyees that is central schools are all one or the other form of reservation . Education per se has gone to dogs. People who are rich go to very big schools and who are poor are let down. The only solution to this problem is we should start delinking the job from degrees and start giving everyone a chance on a massive scale. Sir MV achieved big thing with only diloma which our engineers even today cannot do.Job should given not on degrees rather on the personal charisma and capability of the candidate. The Interview commitee should have high national integrity. Then only all probelms solve.
