those who support creamy layer... one of my dad's friend(who is a SC) was telling a experience few days back...he has seen that many sc's who are rich are becoming more richer and are infact suppressing the poor SC people
they are the one who use to reservation and the actual poor Sc people dont get anything..the one benefiting from the reservation is the rich backward people..and these same rich backward people do nothing to uplift their own caste..they dont marry their child to a SC who is poor or a farmer..they are now suppressing their own SC people..so the rich SC has become the oldage brahmin now and poor SC remains poor and backward..
i was reading above message. dont you think -- these rich SC are another brahmins and after 100years there will be the same situation. because reservation is the worst idea which can be instant hit but of no use in long term.
right to eduucation means there should as many seat available as many students are. top of it quality of education should be as good as it can be . educated people will send their kids for education. farmers will be able to know the latest techniques of cultivation and will be selling their crops at proper price. can reservation make sure every year govt jobs will be there, in coming years there will be no jobs cuts and once hired they will be serving for ever. IIT AIIMS and IIM are chose because they have brand value. why not Govt start 100 new IIT AND AIIMS. exclusively reserved for OBC and better than AIIMS.

Lokmanya- Thats what na Yaar, reservations should be for poor category people not for any specific cast. Cast dosen't decide the economical status of an individual. Why can't our fool, useless, stupid govt. dosen't understand this.

Serial, I don't think its right to compare with brahmins. Let me tell you my grandfather 9 brahmin) has funded the entire education of an SC. He was a kid of a maid servant who used to work in our house. My grandfather educated him completely and today he is a successful lawyer. I am funding to the education of many children and I am not seeing if they are SC/ST/OBC. What the govt. is supposed to do I am doing it. Shame on people who try to derogate brahmins.

dear friend dont take it personally. i should have used another term as these days no one is brahmin. actually intention was to express the term beneficiary. regrets.
today parties want more reservation for OBC. once that will be implemented what these politician will do?
1 they will identify those caste who are not in OBC.will lauch protest and will make sure rest caste should get in OBC. 2 OBC caste will fear of dilution of quota so they will launch protest to be reserved as Most backword class and ask for 50% of quota for them in OBC category. 3 rest upper class politician will start a commettie to identify what other quota they can bring in ? 4 launch of another quota for backward upperclass and most backward upperclass ?
oh my god politician has so much to do in next 20-30 years. so dont waste your time and energy for protesting these quota and make yourself and your kids ready to leave india for bangladesi and biharies and quota people. jai hind

Is this a political forum ??? We need to discuss only about reservations and nothing else ...
Nothing is going to happen even if BJP,VHP etc etc join pro-reservationists. They know Supreme Court is a bunch of corrupt people and they will never let the reservation be reality for OBCs. That is a distant dream of poors.
I wonder I am living in a secular country. Friends it is the 21st century now, but things are still like these were. Still so many innocent people being killed by so called high castes, so many opressed, so many insulted. My brothers we are still slaves in this country. Only a bunch of Hindus have enjoyed the fruits of freedom. Its for them the 15th August 1947 a independence day, for us the struggle has yet to be started.
Friends what else can be the injustice that out of 100 childern who go for primary only 30 of the opressed classes make it to the higher secondary. After that only 10 are left for senior seconadry. Only 5 are left for higher studies. Now where is that big filter coming from. We just wonder where those childern have gone. Simply a few may be driving ricshaws, few may be labourers for a construction company so and so.
Is it that these childern are dumb? No way. There are many reasons for thses drop outs. These people do not have even the basic facilities at home. Poverty is hereditary to them.
They do not get quality education. And the age long partiality in schools by the teachers is another reason. I still remember my college days where my teacher did not tell me to prepare for a competitive exam for engineering entrance as he knew that I was lower cast. Later I came to know the training he was giving to his specials students.
Well that is a one case. There are so many other factors.
If one looks at the media, the whole system looks biased. Media will highlight only that news that will benifit the high castes. Like when you a news against reservation it will be highligted again and again. That will be the headline all the time. On the other hand any protest or march in favour of reservation will be a fus. That news will be somewhere in the sliding bar or simply it will not be there.
It is not only the electronic media but the whole bunch of Indian Newspapers are an example. At the times of crisis they will always be going in favour of high castes. So all my friends try not to buy the newspapers like "Times of India", "Hindustan Times etc etc". Its you people who are finacially helping these people. Instead buy those newspapers that represent your voice.
Dont feel shy when sombody comments upon you, saying you are inferior and you are there where you are because of reservation. Just look at the history and you will see these people were getting a 100% reservation at the hands of corrupt rulers.
Now the question is how that gap of centuries can be compensated by a bit of fraction of power.
I say give equal opportunity to all the childern. Give them same facilities and then you compete with them. No need for reservation will then be there and you people will nowhere be there.

think last 60years of reservation of SC and ST and still the most illitrate people are from the same SC /ST class. how long you will continue.
OBC quota is started from today how many years you want it tobe in place.
listen friend when we start a factory we know how much time it will take to bulid the infrastructure. what will be product and howthat will be marketed and how much profit we will get.
in case nothing come out factory runs in losses what is the solution. either change the policy or stop the factory.
why these politician are not talking about what happened in past 60 years that they need to extend SC ST quota every time which meant for 10 years.
why after 60 years of freedom OBC want reservation. do you think there will be no more demand for this kind of reservation anymore.
history is suggestive that one mistake lead to grave consequences.
its your and mine india, we are here to pay taxes for treatment of these politician in USA. how can you forget murasoli maran story.

The subject of the article is about Reservations based on caste system. However, few intellectuals here are using this forum to advertise for BJP to bring it back to power and eliminate the congress. The article itself says BJP is supporting the reservations. (Senior backward class leaders like Ram Vilas Paswan, Shard Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav and political parties including Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party have joined Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi in voicing their protests). Here lies the true hypocracy. If the matter is related only to reservations, BJP is same as Congress.
The real face of these people is that they belong to the upper caste, mainly Brahmins. They do not like Congress because congress supports equality for all citizens of this Nation. Whereas, Brahmins want to be superior all the time by crushing the backwards & minorities. BJP alone can fulfil this agenda of theirs. RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal are the organisations started & run by Brahmins to fulfil their above mentioned agenda. BJP is the political face of these people. So, in the name of Hindu Rashtra, that they claim to make, what they intend is to bring back the Brahmin Rashtra, as it was for centuries. The Govt of Brahmins, for Brahmins and by Brahmins. The backwards and minorities should understand their game plans. They have fooled the people of this Nation for many thousand years. They try to show that they are patriotic but the crushing the aspirations of backward classes and making them helpless is not patriotism. Nor is killing, raping & burning of the minorities is patriotism. If at all they can be labelled, they should be labelled as traitors of this Nation. Because the Nation is not only the land within the geographical boundaries but the people living in this land make it a Nation. If 3% Brahmins are opposing the upliftment of Backwards, who constitute more than 80% of Indian population, and are trying to create fear in the minds of minorities, these Brahmins and their organisations incl BJP can not be called as patriotic. They are the real problem for this Nation.
