Delhi politicians and big businessmen have succeeded in their agenda to thwart the directions of Supereme Court and High Court of Delhi by pitching Police and public against each other and creating violence. A situation has been created which can damage the creditability of our Legal system and project the politicians as true well-wishers. All political outfits are united on the issue. Because, big businessmen are affected most and they can spend money.
Who cares for poor residents, who want peace at home. They have not much money to pay for their cause. They were hoping only on the Legal system, which is being thrown into winds by the politicians adopting all type of tactics. The Government did not seem interested in solving this problem peacefully and within legal framework from initial stages itself. They are interested only saving big businessmen and the vote bank.
This is a bad precedent of undermining the Legal system. P.M. should intervene and protect the Law of land.
I am surprised and at pains to note the drama played by the politicians, offcials and the traders too against the Supreme Court Order of the sealing of the illegal construction or the misuse of the land. In my view the wrong done since last 50 years or more by the people of Delhi with the support of the officials and the politicians must be corrected with coercive method if the town is to be saved. People are demanding some thing which they had been wrongly doing since so many years and give resoning that they are doing this since last 50 years hence they have the right to do so. I feel that the traders must be punished but those who allowed them to do so are more guilty and should also be searched and punished.
