Spineless PM
by Rohit Gupta on Sep 18, 2006 10:03 AM  Permalink

Good accurate article. Manmohan Singh is the weakest of the weak PM's India have had to bear.

What transpired in Havana between Singh & Musharraf is an open slap on the face of India. After conceding that Pakistan itself has been a victim of terrorism, what can we expect next from Manmohan? Perhaps he would say that the riots & violence in Pakistan is covertly sponsored by India.

He is the most incompetent & inept PM India has seen, he is quick to label Malegaon attack as shameful but is hard pressed to condemn or admit the spate of attacks on Hindi institutions as the handiwork of SIMI & other Islamic terror groups.

It is so unfortunate that India despite all its economic & millitary progress has to carry a handicap & an international embarrassment like Manmohan Singh.

Dr. Manmohan Singh's Stockholm Syndrome
by Dushyant Chopra on Sep 18, 2006 10:00 AM  Permalink

Now, when a number of Western analysts and policy-makers have begun doubting the sincerity of Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf and suspecting that he has been playing a double role -- openly as a front-line ally in the war against terrorism and covertly as a supporter of Pakistan-based jihadi terrorists -- our prime minister has sought to play down the extent of Musharraf's perfidy with regard to jihadi terrorism directed against India from Pakistani territory with the help of organisations such as Lashkar which operate under the control of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence.
It is a well known fact that India has always been betrayed and back stabbed by different Pakistani Heads of the Nation. keeping in mind the past experiences India should not enter into any pact or joint anti - terrorism operation with Pakistan.
Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh is expected to act as better politician than Parvez Musharraf.

Dr Singh's Stockholm Syndrome

Looks like Indians have to be more vigilant from our political leaders than the ISI and Pakistani govt.
It's the shame on these leaders. If they are not in position to lead the country it is better to get out of the governance rather than keep warming the PM's seat for would be heir apparent.

Sir,

Very well written and factual. 50 years of misrule by Congress Party has come back to haunt us again. We do not need Laskar or Taliban and our own political class is enough to destroy this country. Are we not going back to 14/15th century when our own rulers let the foreigner in in this country?

Dear Mr.Raman,

There cannot be a better way to express our grief and anger through writing than your article, over the present state of hopeless Indian leadership. Simply, what you have said is...24 carat pure n true!

Only 3Cs describe Indian leadership now.Corruption,Cowardice and Callousness.

He can handle only economics classroom and students .Jehadis, terrorist, masked diabolic Generals and community traitors is meant to be handled by people who have nerves of steel.

Its a matter of bad luck that we are part of this country and destined to be doomed.

Hey Ram!

No - we should be pround of being born in this great country. What we should rue is the nerves of steel missing in the government. How does it motivate the soldier to defend our borders?

The only way our is to force the EC to provide an option 'I do not choose any candidate' option and the entire country rises to throw out any politician who is not working to the betterment of the country, its security, its integrity and improving the lives of the people. Only vote the people who are trully nationalists and not bent on creating votebanks and continuing the perpetual 'divide and rule' strategy of the British. If minorities claim special priviledges, look at the root cause and correct them but make sure all are treated equal and with the same respect. Let people be enpowered to improve themselves for the their own betterment and that of the land.

No - I am proud to be an Indian, but not proud of the weak stance of the government when it comes to protecting borders.

Very nice article
by Mahesh on Sep 18, 2006 09:39 AM  Permalink

I am ashamed of having such a coward person as PM of my nation.
If I were in his position, i would prefer being killed in the war against terrorism instead of making friendship with the terrorists.
ITS SHAME.

Angry Raman
by Khalid on Sep 18, 2006 09:23 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Raman is a very angry man. His write up is without any analysis, without any research work. There is no logic or any reasoning, he has just latched on to one word 'Stockholm Syndrome'.The examples he has given are simply laughable and hardly disguise his bias, if at all.
Frankly his article is not even worth a 50 Paisa peroidical.
