Mr. Raman I appriciate the contents of your article.
But I have few questions to ask to our hon' Prime Minister.
1)How can Dr. Singh so easily & so early forgot the pain & sorrows we got from Bombay bomb blast????
2)How many times their will be resumption of peace talks ????
3)Still how many terrorsist attacks we have to face from our friendly neighbour???
4)Your action forces me to think that Are we the citizen of foolest nation on earth???

Stockholm Syndrome !!
by Vikas on Sep 18, 2006 10:56 AM  Permalink

After going thru this article, luks like I, too, have been afflicted by this syndrome. :-)) I have started empathising with Dr. Manmohan. Poor guy just doesnt seem to get his priorities right. Just what can he do ? Whatever Dr. Singh proposes, amma Gandhi diposes, thats what the impression we get. But, seriously. It is a fact that a PM represents his /her country. No matter what syndrome (s)he may be afflicted with or whatever (s)he may personally think about an issue, PM must keep a cool head and act in the interest of nation. Dr. Singh has failed on all counts. He has shown his inability to take independent decisions and to act tough in the time of need.

You hit the nail on the head
by Atul Jain on Sep 18, 2006 10:50 AM  Permalink

I don't know what it is.

Such a noble man as Dr.Singh is either being deluded by Musharraf or perhaps coerced from behind the scenes by our shadow Prime Ministeress.

Please keep writing your insightful articles.

Singh and the Singdrome...
by Srinivas on Sep 18, 2006 10:47 AM  Permalink

Well i think beyond all of this... the thousands of jawans posted at the borders will feel defeated! Imagine the ones who are toiling day and night against all odds in those testing terrains...when they hear such developments, all they would be left with is bitterness and resentment. We don't care for their lives do we. We are still looking at 'civilians' getting killed and that jehadi forces are now turning indiscriminate. Who on earth bred them all this while ??? Even if we accept for a minute that Dr. singh's assessment of Musharraf is right, you can't exonnerate him of his misdeeds!!!

A MINDBLOWING WRITE-UP !
by BISHNU CHARAN PATRO on Sep 18, 2006 10:44 AM  Permalink

Kudos to the writer first for a wonerful article on the inertness and irrational attitude of the inable and defunct prime-minister Monmohan Singh. This is our badlock that we, the Indians are led by a puppet who dances to the tunes of a so-called Indian. The whole world knows that Pakistan is the epicentre of international terrorism and is the biggest MILITANT FACTORY on the globe. Alas! Only the prime-minister of its neighbouring country doesn't know the reality or doesn't want to reveal the reality due to his Stockholm Syndrome.

Dr.Singh's Stockholm Syndrome

Mr.B. Raman's article is very good and enlightening. Dr.Singh is a good man but the party he belongs to has become redundant, though they have won the elections and may even win for anotherr term. But there is doom written large for the Congress and their leaders. Congeress is the party which has divided the country on religious and caste based sections for electoral victory. People will soon see that they have been selling out our country.

This reminds me of Honest Abdul - the super-salesman who'd sell anything to the poor nomad in "Beau Peep" column strip.

I wonder if Dr Singh bought some snake-oil from Gen Musharraf and learnt some alchemy along the way to convert lead to gold, and perhaps even get some powder to polish jewelry as a freebee.

Dr Singh's Stockholm Syndrome
by Avinash on Sep 18, 2006 10:33 AM  Permalink

Dr.Manmohan Singh is the weakest PM India has ever had.He has been trying hard to please Sonia Gandhi, Karunanidhi, Prakash Karat and his Left comrades.
Now Musharaff also fnds a place in the list.

Dr.Singh says:"General Musharraf has assured me that Pakistan has no hand in perpetuating terrorist acts in India. He asked me not to go into the past, to forget whatever has happened in the past and to let us work together in the future."

I dont think even a child woud believe General's words.

Dear Prime Minister, we need not live in the past; but can't we learn something from it?
