How can we feel proud if we have such leaders
by An Gore on Sep 18, 2006 07:45 PM  Permalink

Unfortunately Stockholm Syndrome is our national desease, raman. But that is exactly what I'd anticipated from our soft-spoken economist PM. He will dance to Mush's tunes now...This is what I'm 3000% sure will happen in an year:
Our govt will be ready with another bus/train service to pak and other CBM programs.
Our media/terrorists will be ready to board and praise the service.
Poor souls like us should be ready for many more blasts.
Our army should atleast be ready for another kargil..

And India as a nation should be ready to be acknowledged as the role model for peace, for giving up Kashmir..

I completly agree. Musharraf is a person who has made fool of US & allies in war on terror, who is Singh than? Forget what happened in past and look forward, HOw many times and why? We really have spine less leadership and most of the ruling parties have leaders as DHIMMI (wanna be muslims). Few examples are sonia, mulayam, amarsingh, lefties, laloo... list goes on and on.

I am sure , we will be deceived again and be rpepared for another kargil and mumbai blast.

I totally agree with Mr.B Raman on the anology given. Yes we agree Dr.Singh has 2 page lengthy Bio-data as a greatest Economist and Reformist of the modern India, but his utter lack of understanding the designs of a perenial trouble maker to India ever since its existence.

What sort of mechanism he wants to set up with the Country whose size accounts to the part of biggest state of India ? Are we dealing with a country ten times bigger than India ?

A country which has no history of people's democracy and prides itself on Despots & Dictators has no locus standi to even come near a nation like us.

Let's be firm Dr.Singh, we are nation of too much tolerance and the so called SOFT image will do no good to you, me and each one of us in this great country. Let's stop playing goody, goody to a eternal bady.

Dr.Singh Please , Please be tough in protecting the lives of all Indians and give a fitting reply to the so called country of pint size.

Mera Bharath Mahan - only if you fiercly protect it.

Thats how people like you cleverly put it! Bring the key words "RSS", "Narendra Modi", "Gujarat" and you think you can get the so-called "secular" segment on your side.

If the author does not know what goes on behind the scenes, what do YOU know about it? How can you be confident that Musharraf and Osama arent in cahoots?

Its people like you and opinions like yours which force this country's leaders in chickening out when they should actually be going in for the kill!

Indira Gandhi did it after the Bangladesh war and now Manmohan is doing it when actually Pakistan is loosing its credibility! Mush is going in for the offensive in a clever strategy and Manmohan is falling for it!

The coward!

B. Raman - Stockholm Syndrome
by vasu_erfolg on Sep 18, 2006 05:10 PM  Permalink

Mr. B. Raman is not known to mince words, least of all when he writes on jihadi terrorism. Once again, he has demonstrated why we should hold him in high respect.

Kudos, Mr. Raman. You could't have put it more succinctly - GOD Save this Country !! Yes, God Save this country. I echo your sentiments

Stockholm Syndrome

It looks that Indian Govt. will wake up only after Gen. Musharraf with the help of his new found allies, the Taliban is able to execute a 9/11 type of attack on the friendly Indian Soil inhabited by our great UPA Govt.
