Dr. Singh's Stockholm Syndrom.
by Rajendra Agrawal on Sep 23, 2006 11:55 AM  Permalink

I fully agree with Mr. Raman. Pervez can not be believed. The act of terrorism against India is a calculated move to destablise India and reduce its economic growth. Also this is a way to take a revenge against Kargil defeat. Soft words at the NAM Summit is to improve Pakistan's image and to show the world that they are ready to solve the problem by peace ful means. It is strange that Dr. Singh is falling into the trap laid down by pervez to improve his image. I suggest that India should claim POK back from Pakistan. Bring world opinion in favour of India on this issue that Pakistan has grabbed India's land and is not vacating. Have some military tactics to pressurise Pakistan to handover POK to India. Since India does not claim its terrotory, Pak has been talking about it all the time. Dr. Singh you have to be tough to deal with Pervez. Soft overtures will ruin India.

Dr Singh's Stockholm Syndrome

Dear Sri Raman,

What do you expect from Mr Manmohan Singh, ex Worldbank Employee(pensioner) other than following their diktat. He has also as his boss an Italian who waited 15 years to accept Indian citizenship after being the daughter in law of the most political family. Does he have freedom to express his feelings. I do not think so. The world is worried about Indian power and are trying in ever so many ways to weaken it. As per the internet, 37% of the Americans feel that 911 was a hoax perpertrated by govt of USA and intelligence agencies. How come no one india has talked about it though these sites started giving convincing theories about the hoax right from 2002/3. He is dicatated to do what he does from US thru their agents like World Bank/ADB, etc which want India not achieve her potential.

How come Sonia never sang Vande Mataram. I am sure she did not want to as she is Italian and i am sure if there is a party in the Italian consulate, she would sing the Italian national song or anthem.
Our media is one of the most influenced ones from abroad and that is why when truth is spoken it never gets reported correctly

stockholm akin to nobel peace prize
by sudhir suri on Sep 20, 2006 05:01 PM  Permalink

To me Stochholm signifies Nobel peace prize ,which every PM from Nehru onwards has hankered for. This was attempted by giving twist to the Indian forgein policy. . Panchshilla ,hindu chinni bhai bhai was the begining.

Please elaborate
by userwas on Sep 20, 2006 06:03 AM  Permalink

Mr. Raman,

Can you please elaborate on why covert action was suspended in 1987 by Mr.Gujral government (remember that lame duck PM?

What covert actions did we take earlier( other than 1971)that intelligence forces are missing now? I am surprised that the BJP government has not restored this power this in 2001 & 02.

We do understand that you may not give all the details.... it would help people understand the capabilities of the intelligence forces...

Please let us know.

Dr. Singh's Stockhom Syndrome
by Nishant on Sep 19, 2006 07:40 PM  Permalink

I agree with Mr. B. Raman. After Mumbai blasts Dr. Singh made a statement that blasts had outside India links i.e Pakistan and barely 2 months after he is saying that Pakistan is also a victim of terror. (How long will it take for us to realise that this govt is just making fool of Indian people and trying to hide its own incompetence????) There is no doubt that present government if continue for long will make us realise that we can not deal with terrorism and we have to live with it.
Still there is no major breakthrough in Mumbai blasts investigations which shows Police is not performing at its best (Is it due to political leadership of our country????)

TOUGH TALKING
by Hanif Mohammed on Sep 19, 2006 12:43 PM  Permalink

I am sure, Musharaf must have gone back laughing all the way to Pakistan. Yes, we need our PM to be talking tough, as its proved beyond doubt, the intentions of Pakistan in the past. Yes, we need to keep the talks going, or it would result in more bloodshed. We have to hijack the current situation to our advantage, as Pakistan is viewed by the world as sponsor of global terrorism. Soft approach will buy them more time to re-group - we got to talk tough and fast.

The solution to quell violence in J&K is for Government to make this state economicaly strong, when people will have no time to waste thinking of seperation !! Money given as aid, should be well spent on essential infra-structure and encourage private investments in all sectors. Such solutions will automatically, flip the feeling of doubt in the minds of Kashmiris, and favour India.
