This fawning servitude to the so called revolutionaries is has no logical basis. Than the die hard followers of ideologies and religious never subscribe to any logic. The repressive closed mind ideology and its practice has brought insurmountable hardship to people. I have seen the plight of east European societies driven to extreme isolation and lack of choices.
May be he has put proper people in right places. But with out proper policies nothing comes out and it never has. Clean old road and neatness camouflage hardship and pains, dissipated in love songs and dances. But I know communist have turned lovers to spies reporting on their beloved.
It is better if the report is balanced indicating the harm he has done for CUBA...like murdering and eliminating suspected people who are opposed to his views.. drug smugggling...etc

i hope your "sanity is in sanity" Fidel is a man reverred by the cubans and name "one" in india who is reverred like fidel. I am sure all you know are "in-fidels" stop making remarks just by readin a shot on rediff and make your in sane conclusions that confirms your in sanity

Unlike Stalin, Castro raise to his present position of beloved cuban leader by his long fight...he is just a common man like one of us and knew what a comman man need....Stalin replace Lenin and took it oppurtunity..castro raise from his harwork dedication to serve people....Thats why is is LOVED by all CUBANS...and such people who rise to top like him..are surely to loved and respected......
I salute and bow to this great man. Will our PM who is there, atleast take a cue from him as to how to run a country. Agreed that the country is very small comapared to India. But if you have the will, there is a way.
I just cant, but admire this great person. I wish we had someone like him as our ruler.
