Mr. Anand and Family, My condolences to your family and you. 5 years may have rolled by but memories never fail. I pray to the ALMIGHTY that he bestows strenght to all of you so as to move on in life. Indeed your service to the society is commendable which reflects simple living and high thinking. One can imagine how your late son would have been.
I fully condemn 9/11 and all other terrorist or inhumane activities. I truely believe that the world has changed since then and every one is seen different around the world. I just want to make one comment on 5th aniversary of the tragic event that there are tons of other moments like this one but are not acknowledged. They should be, life lost is a life lost and is regardless of how. I think 1993 Bombay blast, Varanasi blast, several thousands of killings in Kashmir and several others deserve the same statue. We must get rid of all inhumane activities and people who are behind it.
9/11 WTC massacre painful, but blown out of proportion

I personally know mr. anand & i used to go his shop friends in bolwar, puttur when I was a small boy. My deep condolences to him but I dont know why media people makes it big.
How many children lost their parents in the Mumbai Blasts? How many people lost their lives in Lebanon due to Israel's incessant bombings of civilian targets? How many people bleed each year in Iraq/Afghanistan/other countries due to US's supposed "war on terror"?
9/11 no doubt is painful, but it has been blown grossly out of proportion by media and American people. Please keep it in perspective with similar atrocities committed all over the world.
Just because it is "American" need not mean it is more painful.
