9/11

Rediff should stop giving contrived spin to such events. The mom is lost forever-the poor soul-at the same time this 12 year old has lost complete memory of her as is evident from the fun and frolic both the father child duo are having. We blame americans for their stinginess but in this case every victim appears to be paid handsomely(including the tailor guy), and the mourning relatives are better off without the victims seemingly! Compare this with the children of victims of indian tradegies; you would find them going without food for days altogether, and certainly not playing golf or the latest computer games, within six years of losing their parents!!!

My condolence....
by Md. Yazed Alam Khan on Sep 12, 2006 02:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I heartily express my condolennce for Amit, who lost his mom on 9/11. I also pray, that the soul of his mom should rest in peace in eternal bliss! Also, I wish, no such nightmare geopardises his life anymore. The most valuable thing, he has lost in his life. may God save and guide him everyway! I am sure, those who are responsible for this will be punished in the hands of God. God doesn't forgive one, who demolishes his creations. Peace, sympathy and willpower to live for the others, are the cornerstones of human life. I can not do anything for Amit more than just expressing my condolence for him. May God save him everyway, so that no bloody satan be around him. Amen!!

9/11 WTC massacre painful, but blown out of proportion
by Anirban Banerjee on Sep 11, 2006 08:30 PM  Permalink

How many children lost their parents in the Mumbai Blasts? How many people lost their lives in Lebanon due to Israel's incessant bombings of civilian targets? How many people bleed each year in Iraq/Afghanistan/other countries due to US's supposed "war on terror"?

9/11 no doubt is painful, but it has been blown grossly out of proportion by media and American people. Please keep it in perspective with similar atrocities committed all over the world.

Just because it is "American" need not mean it is more painful.

The death strikes when, and how for the living beings of the world, can't be predicted by anybody, except to certain terminally ill patients by Doctors.

Let every human being, keep this fact in their mind and console themselves.
