CID,CBI,RAW,Army Intelligence Wing,Black cats, Commandos,STFs, and now a brand new Intelligence wing of CRPF!!! Is it really a question of adding another 1200 persons to man this unit which will solve the problems we have been facing for so long ? According to an ordinary person like me, it is NOT the solution. Culprits who commit and perpetuate acts ot terror are just like the goondas who sit in Parliament and State asemblies, belonging to political parties.If we have NOT been able to bring to books criminals already in custody for many years (Anand Margi case agaisnt CJ of India and the death of Mishra), and if we refrain from taking action against criminals who are roaming free with political patronage, what is the use of setting up New Intellignece wings. It is generally rumoured that when the Mumbai blasts took place in the Trains recently there wasnt a SINGLE law enforcing agent in ANY of the compartments who died or got injured, though according to some regular commuters,supposedly, cops are usually present in the First Class bogies !! The aspersion is that cops KNEW that something was going to happen, and so NOT EVEN ONE COP BY MISTAKE got injured/killed.Is this true?
The creation of this wing is nothing but an eye wash.Now the blame game will include poor CRPF.Why should the State Police which has the reach, be not strengthened and made accountable? Every head of the Police Station and Polce Post should be held responsible for the crimes in his area. Besides there should be close coordination between State and Central Intelligence agencies and nobody should be spared for the lapses or negligence in planning, performance, supervision and monitoring.Where two or more agencies are involved, concerned personnel from these agencies involved should be penalised for the negligence to stop the blame game.
Its good to hear that an intelligence force is being formed. But why reveal it to the media and let the whole world know??? Its better to keep it a secret isnt it????
First, we need stricter laws and implementation of those laws. Our politicians are more interested in politicking with terrorism rather than sincerely fighting it. One govt. enacts the law, the other repeals it. This is how our country functions on matters of security. There is no point in letting something happen and then point fingers towards somebody else. Are our 'leaders'sincere about fighting terrorism? If not, nothing is going to work on the ground.

I really agree with your point,so to tackle the terrorism it is necessary to frame a very severe laws,such as hanging them or cutting their hands and legs, and even high degree treatment greater than 3rd degree, and we should also frame a severe law against those who support terrorist... And also providing weapons to kashmiri hindu pandits and also train them well so that they can be self-defensive..
Keeping all these in mind first we should close the mouths of NHRC because these are the major barking dogs..
As far as our govt. employees does not have accountability, it will not result in any thing good.
We are having so many govt department like - Police, CID, CBI, ATS, RAW, it will add to another one with out any result. Yes it will definately result in sort of additional cess (tax) on the public to maintain this department for third grade work by these people for nothing
Why do not we hang people working in these agencies, as it is as good as or equivalent to any other any murder charge for them, if they fail to achieve the target.
