THe COncern needs to be penalized by ripping their job...The Boy from a bacward community could have made it but for the ignorance or a mischief. God help him...i would appreciate that he be considered for a seat in any of the IIT's or atleast next year without having to appear for entrance
Being an IIT ian i can realize the kind of effort needed to get thier and to miss this way is not digestable. My reqest to the boy is have the strong heart and fight Best wishes Dev
Knowing all the sequence of events, why can't IIT admit this eligible student? I think our institutions must also work for upliftment of our society instead of sticking with rules when not required. Premier institutes like this must take initiative to analyze such situations and bring out real change. I don't think this brilliant student will not be able to catch up with the classes he missed. There must be a way out, its not compensation that this student needs, its quality education. Please don't make students like him lose faith in our system and stop them from dreaming big.
It was August2002 when the results of Madhaya Pradesh Public Commission's written exam for Assistant Professor was published. The exam was held in 2001 when I was posted at Rajrappa Project,Jharkhand.Later in 2002 I got a new job and shifted to Bokaro Steel City.I was quite sure of the written exam. So,not recieving any information I went to Indore to enquire about the same. I was shocked to find that my roll no. was in the published list and on enquiring found the registered letter had the note from the postman of Rajrappa "the person is not available".Inspite of my full proof instruction in writing to hand over the mail to one of my friend or redirect to my new address, the registered letter was sent back.At that time also the postman as well as the Post Master were the same at Rajrappa-Project. I can easily understand the agony of this boy..... But I would also like to advice him that luck can't always defy hard work.......
what should postal department should do when the person whom a post should be delivered is found abscent and delay being done by private courier services should also be brought to the notice and in such cases authorities should take a lenient attitude as in this case a spicial consideration should be given to the tribal boy
the boy should not be made to suffer because of reasons beyond his control. we have limited seats in premium colleges and the competition is stiff. given the hard work done by him it is unfair to him.
Every conceivable roadblock are put in the way to a better life of these oppressed and marginalized folks. There can be no doubt that this postman, due to this insane prejudices, spitefulness and jealously, had deliberately withheld this mail (the envelope would certainly have carried the IIT logo) to teach these nobodies a good lesson - how dare such tribal low-life even conceive of attending such an insttution as IIT - these tribals are getting way above themselvers and must be kept in their 'place', yessir. The postal dept must be held responsible, and must bemade to shell out lakhs of rupees in fines for the irreparable damage done to this so wronged would-be IITian.
