This is a great joke on Indian Democratic set up. The time has come to ban independents to contest central and state assemblies since all these elections based on which political group has to get majority and rule the state/country. When no political parties or group gets majority in the elections they are looking for the people who won on independent basis. These independent MLAs or MPs are hot favorites for both group and large sum of money and favors are giving to appease these indepdnents which are violating fundamental principles of democratic parliamentary system. Political parties irrespective of the parties and caders to discuss this issue in the next parliament session and pass a bill prohibiting contesting candidates as indepdnents in all the forthcoming elections since the elections are meant for political parties and there is no party as an independent candidates in the political elections. If Indian political parties are not interested to curtail the people's right to contest as independent, let them contest, but they should not give any voting rights in Parliament for selecting a Govt. in case there is no majority they gets in election and it should be minus them vers
Madhu Koda may become Chief Minister.But he will join the league of Rao Birinder Singh,Bhajan Lal,Charan Singh,Mayavati,G N Singh.These leaders are either back stabers or known for their sommersalt when their turn to to step down fron their office.
But then Munda also back stabbed Babu Marandi.But Babu Marandi is also after Gaddi.Gaddi he will not get but he will help dislodging Munda.
When you talk of dislodging then you remember another list ,Babu Jagjivan Ram ,Tau Devi Lal,Arjun Singh.They always wanted to dislodge their leaders.
There is an other class i.e. of Madan Lal,Kalyan Singh ,Uma Bharti, Natwar Singh .These guys were sepahis of their party but when thrown out they did not hesitate in whatever they wanted against their former leaders.
In the end Madhu Koda you may become CM.But you will have to work hard for not getting your name in above lists.Be ready for being dislodged in future.

If we think from "Adivasi" perspective 'Bandhu Tirkey' would be the capable and strong CM of Jharkhand. I know Bandhu will definitely not want to become CM but he can be convinced by the majority support in favour of him.

Hypocrites! Cong orchestrated this 'coup'and retreated to the sidelines, pretending to be just another observer in this peurile charade. Like Musharaff's shamelessly hollow denials of Pak govt's involvement in terrorism against India, so too are the Cong's 'crocodile-tears' denials.
