Fatwa on vandemataram
by Ahmed Saiyed on Sep 04, 2006 06:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sir,
Self proclaimed leaders of Muslims create such controversy in order to gain political mileage. Shahi Imam has no right what so ever to give advice to muslim masses. He is not a leader of Muslims.

Dear Naqvi

May your body and soul search for peace rather than dirty words coming from your mouth.

So sad
by Shalini on Sep 04, 2006 05:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is so unfortunate that Muslims have to be subjected to such suspicions. It is a shame for India, that we are targeting a religious institution that goes back so many years. Just shows that India is forgeting its religious tolerance.

Dear Shalini, It is not that everyone is suspecting Muslims. It is only the unpatriotic groups that go about protesting for each and everything that makes suspicion one with every Patriots mind.

Good Move Darool Aloom - All Kudo's to Them
by Samir Bhai on Sep 04, 2006 05:49 PM  Permalink

Its nice to see a clear stand by Darool Aloom and its statement that no one can forcibly Issue a "Fathwa" for any stupid act.
Religon and Patriotism are different. Who ever of whatever Religon must rcpect his motherland (Country).
Without Desha Bhakti all other Bhakti's are False.

by suhasnatyan on Sep 04, 2006 05:39 PM  Permalink

Its really very good that our muslim spiritual leaders of Darul Ulum do not want to involve in this controversial issue of POLITICIANS.
I sincerely thanks them for their statement as these statements are really necessary to strenghten our country against communal forces.

Dear Mr Surendran
While I do not support those against singing Vande Matram but I oppose the language used by you.Can you sing the national song beyond the first line?
Some people have habbit of showing that they they and those who follw or lead them are patriot and rest all are anti national.
